3.5 NTSC/PAL TV type Setting (J1)
The ARK-3380 series of embedded box computer provides a J1 jumper
located on the internal MIO-253 module I/O board for selecting NTSC or
PAL type of TV set. When you connect your TV set to the S-Video or
Composite Video output connector, you need to set up the J1 jumper to
select the correct TV mode.

3.6 Installing the DDR SDRAM Memory Module
The ARK-3380 provides one 200-pin SODIMM (Small Outline Dual
Inline Memory Module) socket and supports 2.5V DDR SDRAM. You
can install from 64 MB to 1 GB of DDR SDRAM memory. The proce-
dure of installing a DDR SDRAM SODIMM into the ARK-3380 is
detailed below, please follow these steps carefully.
1. Remove the power cord.
2. Unscrew the four screws from the bottom cover of the ARK-3380.
3. Remove the bottom cover.
4. Plug a DDR SDRAM SODIMM with your OS or application pro-
gram into a DDR SDRAM SODIMM on board.
5. Screw back the bottom cover with four screws.
