5. Insert the CF Carrier back and assemble with 2 screws to the CF
door located on rear face plate of the ARK-3380.
Note: The CompactFlash socket is allocated as Secondary IDE Master.
3.8 Installing the 2.5" Hard Disk Drive (HDD)
You can attach one Serial ATA (SATA) hard disk drive to the ARK-3380's
internal controller. The following are instructions for installation:
1. Remove the power cord.
2. Unscrew the four screws from bottom cover of the ARK-3380.
3. Remove the bottom cover of the ARK-3380.
4. Connect the SATA flat cable to the connector to the hard disk.
5. Screw back the bottom cover with the four screws.
3.9 Connecting Power
Connect the ARK-3380 to a 12~24 VDC power source. The power source
can either be from a power adapter or an in-house power source.
