Chapter 1 Hardware Configuration
1.8.3 Watchdog timer output (JWDT1)
The PCE-5127/7127 contains a watchdog timer that will rese t the CPU in the eve nt
the CPU stops processing. This feature means the PCE-5127/7127 will recover from
a software failure or an EMI prob lem. The JWDT1 jumper settings control the o ut-
come of what the computer will do in the event the watchdog timer is tripped.
(JOBS1) is a 2-pin connector for setting enable/disable alarm while the on-bo ard
security event acts.
1.9 System Memory
PCE-5127/7127 has two 240-pin memory sockets for (ECC) DDR3 1333/1600 MHz
memory modules with maximum capacity of 16 GB. (Maximum 8 GB for each DIMM)
PCE-5127 supports non-ECC DDR3 memory modules.
PCE-7127 supports ECC and non-ECC DDR3 memory modules.

Note! Both of PCE-5127 and PCE-7127 do NOT support registered DIMMs
(RDIMMs).
