Appendix E helps users install the panel PC, which is mountable in
a variety of ways.
If you are a commercial user and the panel PC unit you bought is a
complete set with CPU, hard disk drive, SDRAM, CD-ROM drive,
floppy disk drive and PCMCIA expansion slots included, you may
only need to read Chapters 1 through 3 regarding hardware
operation. For additional drivers and BIOS setup information, you
should read Chapters 6 through 10. If you want to upgrade your
system, you may follow the instructions in Chapters 4 and 5.
Chapter 11 is for users who want information about the optional
touchscreen. If you are a system integrator who wants to integrate
the panel PC into your system, you can refer to Appendices A
through E for information such as pin assignments and how to fully
disassemble the panel PC.
