Installation Guide
Can Changeover
Once started, do not remove applicator gun from can until can is empty. Point applicator gun in a safe direction and purge
the applicator barrel. Remove can by rotating can in a counter- clockwise direction. Clean applicator basket with AdvanTech
™
polyurethane cleaner as needed. Immediately attach new can of AdvanTech
™
subfl oor adhesive.
Coverage and Curing
One 24 oz. can of AdvanTech
subfl oor adhesive yields
approximately 400 linear feet of
gel adhesive at a ½" diameter
bead. When compared to a 28
oz. caulk cartridge of typical
subfl oor adhesive, product yield
per container is approximately
8 times that of the conventional
adhesive applied at a 3/8" bead, per
manufacturer’s instructions. The
subfl oor panel should be installed
and fastened within 20 minutes
from the time of application.
Storage and Handling
Turn off the fl ow to the gun using
the control knob at the back of the
gun. Store the can in the upright
position with the gun attached. To
resume installation, shake the can
for 30 seconds and then open the
fl ow control value. Maximum storage
is 30 days. Product will keep for 18
months in unopened can when stored between 60° F and 90° F (16° C and 32° C). Storage above 90° F (32° C) will reduce
shelf life. Do not store above 122° F (50° C).
