Troubleshooting
Recovering from a System Crash
(Windows XP Professional Embedded)
In the unlikely event that your S10A should crash, do the
following to re-boot your system if you are using Windows XP
Professional Embedded.
1. Connect a USB keyboard to the USB port on your S10A.
2. Press the power button to turn on the S10A. During boot-
up, PRESS UP KEY TO RUN RESTORE... is displayed. Press
the up arrow button.
3. The recovery software screen appears with the message
‘Are you sure you want to recover the partition now?’.
Press Enter to confirm. The recovery operation starts.
Should you have any further problems, contact technical support
for assistance.
