8.1 Introduction
The driver for the LAN chip, RTL8100CL, is an Auto-installation program.
For support of other Operating Systems like, Win XP 64 / Win98SE / WinME / Win2K
/ WinXP ver.663, follow the steps below to install the driver.
8.2 Installation of LAN Driver
1. Execute: “D:\TREK-743 Driver and Utili-
ties\LAN\RTL8169_8139_810x_663\setup.exe.”
2. Select the path into which the driver will be installed and press “Next” to pro-
ceed.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
4. Choose “Yes, I want to restart my computer,” and press “Finish.” The system will
reboot automatically.
Note! 1. It is important to pay attention to the instructions which appear on
the screen.
2. The CD-ROM drive is designated as “D” throughout this chapter.
