13. Set the Baud rate to “115200.”
14. Execute HyperTerminal from program launch menu to specify extra initial set-
tings for the GPRS. Key in string: at+cgdcont=1,“IP”,“internet” in the Hyper-
Terminal and click Enter; if “OK” appears, finish the setting.
– (The “Internet” represents the “Access-point Name” (APN) for GPRS service
in Taiwan; however the name and point varies according to different ISPs and
countries; therefore, it is important to check the APN with the local ISP ven-
dor. Taiwan users can pass this step because the GPRS module was already
set to the default above prior to shipping.)
