3.4.3 Installing the MiniPCI WLAN module

1. Insert the WLAN module into the MiniPCI slot on the mother-

board, (circle 1).

2. Attach the antenna cable to the main connector located on the

WLAN module, (circle 2). If adopting the dual antenna, attach the

other antenna cable to the AUX connector located on the WLAN

module.

3. Attach the cable from the WLAN module to the internal antenna

receptacle, located on the top left side of the rear cover, (circle 3).

4. Screw the antenna into the external receptable, located on top of the

outside rear cover.

Note: The default setting for MiniPCI LAN uses the

antenna receptacle on the left-hand side; if, for

some reason, it is being used by another con-

nection, an extra cable of a different length is

available on request for connection to the extra

receptacle on the right-hand side of the cover.
