Chapter 8 USB 2.0
8.1 Introduction
Before installing the USB driver, please take note of the procedures
detailed below. It is important to know which operating system being
applied to the TREK-775/TREK-776, and then refer to the corresponding
installation procedure. This USB driver only needs to be installed under
Window 98 / 2000 and is not necessary for WinXP.
8.2 Installation of USB Driver
1. Execute D:\ USB\ usb2k51.exe
2. Decide the path you want to install and press “Next” to proceed.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
4. Choose “Yes, I want to restart my computer,” and press “Finish.”
The system reboots automatically.
Important: The following are examples only. Follow the
instructions and pay attention to the onscreen
prompts as they appear.
Note: The CD-ROM drive is designated as "D"
throughout this chapter.
