System overview: The Dual Player Headrest Video utilizes a common power source for two

independent top-loading DVD players with 2-way audio-video sourcing. Each player has external

audio/video input, a wireless infrared 2-channel headphone and wireless remote. The left player has

audio playback capability through vehicle audio system via an OSD controlled FM transmitter.

BATTERY DICONNECT Disconnecting the battery prior to any ground or harness removal/ tapping to prevent possible vehicle damage is recommended. The battery may be temporarily reconnected and disconnected throughout the installation process to perform various tasks.

Disconnect power plug connector and remove center console cover (Figure B4) 5. Remove driver side console panel by pulling out at bottom with hand. Repeat on passenger side (Figure B5a-b) Figure B4b 6. Using your hand pull outward at bottom of seat back cover to release lower seat back clips.

While pulling out on top corner of seat back and Figure B6b pushing in approximatly 4 inches from top, slide cover to the left to release upper clip. Repeat on left side of seat (Figure B7) 8. Disconnect SRS connector. (Figure B8) 9. Insert Scribe into hole on right side of Headrest Figure B7 post cap to release safty lock and push button on left post cap to release Headrest. ( Figure B9) 10. Remove Cargo compartment cover.

Install Power Wiring REMINDER: Disconnect the battery prior to any ground or harness removal/ tapping to prevent possible vehicle damage. Once all wiring installation is complete the battery can be reconnected. If the vehicle is equipped with an Anti-theft radio, the radio code must be written down prior to disconnecting the battery cable. The code must be re-entered when the negative battery cable is re-installed.

Continue to route cables along the side of center console and under carpet. Then route cable to split in carpet and route under the seat rail protruding out under the seat. Attach Figure E2a monitor/ bracket assembly by sliding bracket around headrest sleeves from right to left. (Figure E2a-b) 3. Install bracket spacers. (Figure E5) 6. Continue to route cables to bottom side of seat behind molding. Then transfer cables to lower seat opening extending to underside of seat frame. Figure E5 (Figure E6a-c) 7. Connect cables 1B and 2B to 3B then snap security clamp around the connectors, add wire tie for strain relief, and apply foam tape. (Figure F1a-c) 2. Secure the cables to the factory harness under Figure F1b the seat add enough slack to allow the seat move freely. (Figure F2) 3. Repeat steps 1-2 on driver’s side using cables 1A, 2A, and 3A. Monitor should power on, start up screen should appear onscreen. Insert DVD into monitor, press enter. DVD should begin playing Listen with wireless headphones (be sure to set to channel “A” to listen to monitor “A” and channel “B” to listen to monitor “B”).

FM Transmitter not turned on. Turn on FM Transmitter using the Remote Control. Press the DVD Button (A) on the Remote Control to control Monitor A – Driver Side Headrest. Press the Sound Around On/Off Button.
