Introduction Introduction email is a very important means of communication that can be used effectively in the shopping selection, ordering, payment and after-sales processes. This manual focuses on the way email can be used to make payment processing easier.
The “Pay by Email” Option 1 The “Pay by Email” Option Adyen offers the possibility to include a “Pay by Email” option on the payment page. This is an option that allows the shopper to enter their email address and have the complete payment page delivered to their email inbox for later action. Example 1: One-Page Payment Showing Pay By Email In our familiar one-page payment screen clicking the “Pay By Email” button prompts for an email and description.
The “Pay by Email” Option Example 2: email Received By Shopper In the email received by the shopper, PAY NOW! Button will send the shopper back to the payment page where they can finish the transaction. There is no need to login or fill the shopping basket again. When to use: ● When you experience a high level of fall-out on the payment page. Adding an email option will enhance conversion.
The “Pay by Email” Option Layout of the email Message The layout of the email message is specified in the skin. Every Adyen payment page can be designed using a skin, which consists of a ZIP file containing a number of files and folders.
