2. Installation
2.5.2 Standard
 RS-232
The UPS unit is supplied with a RS-232 cable to connect a local computer or modem to a
remote computer installed with the “Cruiser” software. It can be used to monitor or control
the UPS locally or remotely. Please refer to the chapter 3.5 Cruiser software or the Cruiser
installation disk for details.
The pins of the connector are as following:

The RS-232 interface setting are as follows:
Baud Rate 2400 bps
Data Length 8 bits
