2. Installation
 For Mechanical Dry Contact
The DB9 Dry Contact Card offers three relay outputs for
custom- wired application. The figure below shows the
interface for the system connection:

BATTERY LOW -
normally closed state, will become
open during active state. (PIN 2 is common)

POWER FAILURE -
normally open state, will become
closed during active state. (PIN 5 is common)

POWER FAILURE - normally closed state, will
become open during active state. (PIN 5 is
common)

Remote shut-down UPS - keep this pin at high
voltage (+5V~+12V), needs 500 ms to shut down
UPS. Activates at battery mode.

FAULT - normally close state, will become open
during UPS fault. (PIN 9 is common)
OUTPUT
2.5.3.2 USB Card
When the connected computer only has USB ports, an optional USB 1.0 can be used in the
communication slot. A USB cable is supplied with the card.
