Outputs of NAC 1 and NAC 2 of the Quaestor-SZU Releasing Fire Control Panel operate in a special application
mode when conforming to specific levels of continuous DC. Outputs meet these requirements when NAC
currents do not exceed 500 mA on NAC 1 or NAC 2 with the combined currents not to exceed 1.0 A.
The Quaestor-SZU Releasing Fire Control Panel supports special application outputs of NAC 1 and NAC
2 when operating:
• Amseco NAC devices with synchronization modules
• Gentex NAC devices with synchronization modules
• System Sensor NAC devices with synchronization modules
• Wheelock NAC devices with synchronization modules
Synchronization
NAC channels 1 and 2 of the Quaestor-SZU Releasing Fire Control Panel provide single and dual circuit
synchronization. Single circuit synchronization provides a synchronized output on one channel of two NAC
channels. Dual circuit synchronization provides a synchronized output on NAC 1 and NAC 2.
The Quaestor-SZU Releasing Fire Control Panel provides synchronization for the outputs of NAC 1 and NAC
2 when operating external synchronization devices and NAC devices from Amseco, Gentex, System Sensor or
Wheelock.
Synchronization Modules
Synchronize the special application output of NAC 1 and NAC 2 using the UL listed and compatible synchronization
modules described in the table below:

Connect one 10K EOL resistor, SHE8000I to the output of each Synchronization Module.
