Before first use 5 For cookware, cake tins, roasts. • Flat baking tray For cakes and biscuits. • Deep roasting pan To bake and roast or as pan to collect fat. • Meat probe To measure how far the meat is cooked. Oven steam outlet The steam from the oven gets out through the outlet in the back left corner of the cooking surface (see the Description of the appliance in hob user manual). Before first use Initial Cleaning • Remove all parts from the appliance. • Clean the appliance before first use.
Daily use The temperature indicator comes on while the oven temperature increases. 3. To switch off the oven, turn the oven functions control knob and the temperature control knob to the Off position. Cooking zones With the control knobs for cooking zones you operate the hob that you installed with the oven. For more information about the hob, refer to the hob user manual. Heat settings Cooking zone indicators (refer to "General overview ") show which zone you set.

Helpful hints and tips 9 In case the level of cooking is not satisfactory do above steps once again and set higher core temperature. Door lock The door lock is deactivated when the appliance comes from the factory. Activating the door lock: Pull the door lock forward until it locks in place. Deactivating the door lock: Push the door lock back into the panel. Opening the appliance door: 1. Push and hold the door lock. 2. Open the door.

This can extend the time to defrost very much. • Put the oven shelf in the first shelf level from the bottom.

Care and cleaning Shelf Support Rails Removing the shelf support rails 1. Pull the front of the shelf support rail away from the side wall. 2. The rounded ends of the shelf support rails must point to the front! Oven lamp WARNING! There is a danger of electrical shock! Before you change the oven lamp: • Switch off the oven.
Care and cleaning 23 CAUTION! Be careful when you remove the door from the appliance. The door is heavy! Removing the oven door 1. Open the oven door as far as it goes. 2. Lift up clamping levers (A) on the two door hinges fully. A A 3. Close the oven door until the first position (angle approximately 45°). 4. Hold of the oven door with one hand on each side and pull it away from the oven at an upwards angle. 5. Now you can remove the inner glass panels and clean them.
