Before first use 5 Oven accessories • Oven shelf For cookware, cake tins, roasts. • Flat baking tray For cakes and biscuits. • Nonstick flat baking tray For cakes and biscuits. • Nonstick deep roasting pan To bake and roast or as pan to collect fat. Oven steam outlet The steam from the oven gets out through the outlet in the back left corner of the cooking surface (see the Description of the appliance in hob user manual). Before first use Initial Cleaning • Remove all parts from the appliance.
Daily use Switch the oven on Turn the oven functions selector to a oven function. The power indicator comes on. The temperature display shows the suggested temperature for the oven function set. The oven starts to heat up. When the temperature is reached, an acoustic signal sounds. Changing the oven temperature Turn the + / - knob to raise or lower temperature. The setting changes in 5°C steps. Controlling the temperature Push Rapid heat up and Selection buttons at the same time.
Daily use 7 The oven now continues to heat according to the pre-set oven function and temperature. Now you can put the food in the oven. You can switch on the Rapid heat up function with the oven functions: True fan baking , Conventional and Rotitherm . , Fan Cooking zones With the control knobs for cooking zones you operate the hob that you installed with the oven. For more information about the hob, refer to the hob user manual.
Daily use Oven function Application Dual grill To grill flat food in large quantities and to toast. Single Grill To grill flat food in the middle of the grill an to toast. Defrost Base heat To defrost frozen food. To bake cakes with maximum. Meat probe Meat probe measures the core temperature of the meat. When the meat reaches set temperature the oven switches off automatically.
Daily use 9 Inserting the Oven Accessories Put in the slide-in accessories so that the double side edges are at the back of the oven and point down to the bottom. Push the slide-in accessories between the guide-bars of one of the oven levels. The deep roasting pan and the oven shelf have double side edges. These edges and the shape of the guide-bars causes the anti-tilt safety for the oven accessories. Inserting the oven shelf and deep roasting pan together Put the oven shelf on the deep roasting pan.
Daily use Removing the fat filter Hold the fat filter by the tab, unhook it and lift out. Daily use Clock function 11 Application Minute mind- To set a countdown time. A signal sounds, after the time period is comer pleted. This function has no effect on the operation of the oven. Duration To set how long the oven has to be in operation. End To set the switch-off time for an oven function. Duration and End can be used at the same time, if the oven is to be switched on , then End . and off automatically later.
Helpful hints and tips Activating the door lock: Pull the door lock forward until it locks in place. Deactivating the door lock: Push the door lock back into the panel. Opening the appliance door: 1. Push and hold the door lock. 2. Open the door. Do not push the door lock when closing the appliance door! Switching off the appliance does not cancel the mechanical door lock. This can extend the time to defrost very much. • Put the oven shelf in the first shelf level from the bottom.
Care and cleaning WARNING! Do not clean the glass door with abrasive cleaning agents or metal scraper. Heat resistant surface of the inner glass can damage. CAUTION! If you use an oven spray, follow the instructions from the manufacturer. • Clean the front of the appliance with a soft cloth with warm water and cleaning agent. • To clean metal surfaces use a usual cleaning agent • Clean the oven interior after each use. Thus you can remove dirt more easily and it does not burn on.
Care and cleaning 25 Shelf Support Rails Removing the shelf support rails 1. Pull the front of the shelf support rail away from the side wall. 2. Pull the rear shelf support rail away from the side wall and remove it. 2 1 Installing the shelf support rails Install the shelf support rails in opposite sequence. Important! The rounded ends of the shelf support rails must point to the front! Oven lamp WARNING! There is a danger of electrical shock! Before you change the oven lamp: • Switch off the oven.
Care and cleaning Replacing the oven light bulb/cleaning the glass cover 1. Turn the glass cover anti-clockwise to remove it. 2. Clean the glass cover. 3. Replace the oven light bulb with applicable 300°C heat-resistant oven light bulb. 4. Install the glass cover. Replacing the oven lamp (left side of the appliance) Cleaning the glass cover 1. Remove the left shelf support rail. 2. Use a narrow, blunt object (e.g. a teaspoon) to take off the glass cover and clean it. 3.
Care and cleaning Removing the oven door 1. Open the oven door as far as it goes. 2. Lift up clamping levers (A) on the two door hinges fully. 27 A A 3. Close the oven door until the first position (angle approximately 45°). 4. Hold of the oven door with one hand on each side and pull it away from the oven at an upwards angle. 5. Now you can remove the inner glass panels and clean them. To install the door follow the procedure in reverse. 45° CAUTION! Be careful with the glass, it can break.

Hints for appliances with metal fronts: If you open the door during or immediately after the baking or roasting procedure, steam can show on the glass.
