Control panel Programme indicators When you set a washing programme the related indicator comes on. Refer to ‘Washing programmes’. On/off button Press this button to activate or deactivate the appliance. Programme button Press this button again and again until the indicator of the washing programme comes on. Refer to 'Washing programmes'. Multitab button Press this button to activate or deactivate the multitab function. Refer to 'Multitab function'.
Use of the appliance 9 – It is necessary to cancel the programme to go back to the setting mode. Refer to 'Setting and starting a washing programme'. USE OF THE APPLIANCE 1. Be sure that the set level of the water softener agrees with the water hardness in your area. If not, adjust the water softener. 2. Fill the salt container with dishwasher salt. 3. Fill the rinse aid dispenser with rinse aid. 4. Load cutlery and dishes into the appliance. 5.
Use of dishwasher salt 2. Press and hold function button (B) and function button (C) at the same time until the indicators of function buttons (A), (B) and (C) flash. 3. Release function button (B) and function button (C). 4. Press function button (A). • The indicators of function button (B) and function button (C) go off. • The indicator of function button (A) continues to flash. • The end indicator starts to flash. The number of flashes shows the current adjustment.

Follow the detergent manufacturer recommendations on the detergent packaging. Do these steps to fill the detergent dispenser: 1. Press the release button 2 to open the lid 7 of the detergent dispenser. 2. Put the detergent in the dispenser 1 . 3.
Multitab function You can set the rinse aid dosage between position 1 (lowest dosage) and position 4 (highest dosage). Turn the rinse aid selector 6 to increase or decrease the dosage. MULTITAB FUNCTION The multitab function is for combi detergent tablets. These tablets contain agents as detergent, rinse aid and dishwasher salt. Some types of tablets can contain other agents.
Loading cutlery and dishes The lower basket Put the saucepans, lids, plates, salad bowls and cutlery in the lower basket. Arrange the service dishes in the front part of the basket. The rows of prongs in the rear part of the basket can be flat to load pots, pans, bowls and deep dishes. 1. Hold the two rows of prongs on the right side at the rear part of the basket. 2. Lift the rows of prongs out of the guides. 3. Fold the rows of prongs. 1.
Loading cutlery and dishes The cutlery basket Put the forks and spoons with the handles down. Put the knives with the handles up. Mix the spoons with other cutlery to prevent them to bond together. Lower the handle of the cutlery basket to put the cutlery in the basket. Use the cutlery grids. If the dimensions of the cutlery prevent to use the cutlery grids, you can easily hide them.
Loading cutlery and dishes The cutlery basket has two parts. You can use these parts separately for more loading flexibility. To disassemble the parts, move them horizontally in opposite directions and pull them apart. To assemble the parts, put them together and move horizontally to each other. The upper basket The upper basket is for saucers, salad bowls, cups, glasses, pots and lids. Arrange the items to let water touch all surfaces. For longer items fold the cup racks up.
Loading cutlery and dishes • For glasses with long stems, fold the glass holder up (figure 1). • If you do not use the glass holder, move it to the right side (figure 2). Put the glasses on the prongs. Adjusting the height of the upper basket If you put large plates in the lower basket, first move the upper basket to the upper position. Do these steps to move the upper basket to the upper or lower position: 1. Pull the basket out until it stops. 2.

Setting and starting a washing programme 19 Interruption of a washing programme • Open the appliance door. – The washing programme stops. • Close the appliance door. – The washing programme continues from the point of interruption. Cancelling the washing programme If the washing programme has not started, you can change the selection. To change the selection while the washing programme operates, it is necessary to cancel the programme.

Care and cleaning 21 CARE AND CLEANING To remove and clean the filters Dirty filters decrease the washing results. The appliance has two filters: 1 Coarse filter 2 Fine filter Make a check of the coarse filter after each washing programme. Make a check of the fine filter at regular intervals. To remove and clean the coarse filter (1) 1. Remove the coarse filter. 2. Clean the coarse filter fully under running water. 3. Put the coarse filter in position. To remove and clean the fine filter (2) 1.
What to do if… WHAT TO DO IF… The start of the appliance does not occur or it stops during operation. First try to find a solution to the problem (refer to the table). If not, contact the service centre. With some malfunctions the indicators flash to show an alarm code. Seguire i dosaggi consigliati dal produttore del detersivo riportati sulla confezione. Riempire il contenitore del detersivo procedendo nel modo seguente: 1. Premere il tasto di sgancio 2 per aprire il coperchio 7 del contenitore del detersivo. 2.
Uso di pastiglie combinate 37 Uso del brillantante Il brillantante permette di asciugare le stoviglie senza strisce o macchie. Il contenitore del brillantante aggiunge automaticamente il brillantante durante l'ultima fase di risciacquo. Riempire il contenitore del brillantante procedendo nel modo seguente: 1. Per aprire il contenitore del brillantante ruotare il tappo 4 in senso antiorario 2. Riempire il contenitore del brillantante 5 con il brillantante. Il simbolo "max" indica il livello massimo. 3.
Sistemazione di posate e stoviglie 5. Una volta completato il programma di lavaggio, regolare decalcificatore dell’acqua in base alla durezza dell'acqua locale. 6. Regolare il dosaggio del brillantante. SISTEMAZIONE DI POSATE E STOVIGLIE Suggerimenti • • • • • • • • • • Non inserire nell'apparecchiatura oggetti che possano assorbire acqua (spugne, panni). Eliminare i residui di cibo dalle stoviglie. Ammorbidire le tracce di bruciato nelle stoviglie.
Sistemazione di posate e stoviglie Le file di supporti nella parte posteriore del cestello possono essere facilmente abbassate per permettere di caricare più agevolmente pentole e insalatiere. 1. Prendere le due file di supporti a destra nella parte posteriore del cestello. 2. Sollevarle leggermente dalle guide. 3. Piegare le file di supporti. 1. Sistemazione di posate e stoviglie Abbassare il manico del cestello portaposate per facilitare la sistemazione delle posate. Utilizzare le griglie in dotazione per le posate. Se le dimensioni delle posate impediscono l'uso dei separatori, è possibile toglierli. Il cestello portaposate è costituito da due parti. Per garantire una maggiore flessibilità di carico, è possibile utilizzare queste parti separatamente.
Sistemazione di posate e stoviglie Cestello superiore Il cestello superiore è destinato a contenere piattini, insalatiere, tazze, bicchieri, piccoli tegami e coperchi. Disporre gli oggetti in modo che l'acqua raggiunga tutte le superfici. Per oggetti più grandi, piegare le griglie portatazze. Collocare i bicchieri a calice nelle apposite griglie portatazze con lo stelo rivolto verso l'alto. • Per bicchieri a calice, ripiegare il portabicchieri (figura 1).
