Correct use • Persons (including children) who, due to their physical, sensory or mental capacity or their inexperience or lack of knowledge are unable to use the appliance safely should not operate this appliance without the supervision or instruction of a responsible person.

Description of the Appliance 7 Touch Control sensor fields The appliance is operated using Touch Control sensor fields. Functions are controlled by touching sensor fields and confirmed by displays and acoustic signals. Touch the sensor fields from above, without covering other sensor fields.
Description of the Appliance Control bar 3 The control bar is a special Touch Control field. The control bar is touched where the desired heat setting is positioned. The heat setting is shown in the display. Correct to the left or the right, if necessary. Do not release before the desired heat setting is reached. If the control bar is touched for longer than 6 seconds, a signal sounds and the appliance switches itself off.

The power function is activated for 10 minutes at most. After that the induction cooking zone automatically switches back to heat setting 14.
