Gerätebeschreibung 5 • Kontrollieren Sie vor dem Waschen, dass alle Taschen leer sind und dass alle Knöpfe und Reißverschlüsse geschlossen sind. Waschen Sie keine ausgefransten oder zerrissenen Textilien und behandeln Sie Farb-, Tinten-, Rost- und Grasflecken vor dem Waschen separat. Bügel-BHs dürfen nicht in der Maschine gewaschen werden. • Textilien, die mit flüchtigen Erdölerzeugnissen in Kontakt gekommen sind, dürfen nicht in der Maschine gewaschen werden.

Bedienblende 7 Waschmittelschublade Waschmittelfach für Vorwäsche . Das Vorwaschmittel wird zu Beginn des Waschprogramms eingespült. Erste Inbetriebnahme 9 Zeitvorwahl Wenn Sie die Taste 8 gewählt haben, erscheint das entsprechende Symbol 9.5 im Display. Nach dem Drücken von Taste 7 wird die gewählte Zeitvorwahl (max. 20 Stunden) auf der rechten Seite des Displays mit dem entsprechenden Symbol angezeigt. Der Wert der Zeitvorwahl nimmt jede Minute ab ( 9.8 ). Falsche Optionswahl Bei einer falschen Optionswahl informiert Sie das Display, dass diese Option nicht wählbar ist.
Persönliche Einstellungen Die UHR-Funktion gestattet die Änderung/Einstellung der aktuellen Uhrzeit. Die Uhrzeit muss immer aktualisiert werden, da von ihr das ENDE der laufenden Programmdauer abhängt. Zum Einstellen der Uhrzeit drücken Sie mehrmals die Taste 4 , um das Menü Einstellungen ( EINSTELLUNGEN ) zu wählen, und bestätigen Sie Ihre Auswahl durch Drücken der Taste 5 . Die Stundenzahl kann mit einem einzelnen, kurzen Druck auf die Taste 4 eingestellt werden.
Täglicher Gebrauch 11 Rückkehr zum Hauptmenü Diese Einstellfunktion gestattet Ihnen die Rückkehr zum Menü Optionen. Suchen Sie die Option ZURÜCK durch Drücken der Taste 4 . Drücken Sie die Taste 5 zur Bestätigung Ihrer Auswahl. TÄGLICHER GEBRAUCH Das Gerät ist mit einem Gewichtssensor ausgestattet, der die in der Trommel befindliche Wäschemenge wiegt und Ihnen die benötigte Menge Reinigungsmittel empfiehlt. Stellen Sie vor dem Einschalten des Geräts sicher, dass die Trommel leer ist.
Täglicher Gebrauch • das Balken-Diagramm zeigt die Beladung in Schritten von 0.5 kg an, • die empfohlene Waschmittelmenge für die aktuelle Beladung wird in Prozent angegeben. Wurde zu viel Wäsche in das Gerät geladen, erscheint die Meldung, dass das Gerät überladen ist. Bitte nehmen Sie in diesen Fällen die entsprechende Wäschemenge wieder heraus. Drücken Sie eine beliebige Taste oder schließen Sie die Tür, damit das Display erneut Informationen über das Waschprogramm anzeigt.
Täglicher Gebrauch 13 1. Ziehen Sie die Waschmittelschublade bis zum Anschlag heraus. Messen Sie die benötigte Waschmittelmenge ab und schütten Sie es in das Fach für den Hauptwaschgang ; wenn Sie ein Programm mit Vorwäsche wählen, schütten Sie das Waschmittel in das Fach mit der Markierung . Geben Sie für die Durchführung der Funktion Flecken Fleckentferner in das mit einem blauen Pfeil markierte Fach . 2.

Täglicher Gebrauch 15 SENSITIV Wenn Sie diese Option wählen, wird die Waschintensität reduziert. Das Gerät führt einen zusätzlichen Spülgang in den Programmen für Koch-/Buntwäsche und Pflegeleicht aus. Das entsprechende Symbol erscheint auf dem Display. Die Option kann nicht mit der Option Extraspülen gewählt werden. Diese Option wird für Buntwäsche und für Wäsche empfohlen, die häufig gewaschen wird. EXTRASPÜLEN Dieses Gerät ist so konstruiert, dass es nur wenig Wasser verbraucht.
Täglicher Gebrauch • drücken Sie die Taste 5 , um diese Option zu aktivieren. Das entsprechende Symbol erscheint im Display. Das Display weist Sie an, die Taste 4 und 5 gemeinsam für 5 Sekunden zu drücken, um das Gerät zu entriegeln. Wenn Sie nach dem Programmstart mit eingeschalteter KINDERSICHERUNG eine beliebige Taste drücken, erscheint die Meldung, dass das Gerät verriegelt ist und Sie zum Entriegeln eine Tastenkombination benutzen sollen.
Täglicher Gebrauch 17 • Drücken Sie die Taste 7 : das Gerät startet mit dem in 9.8 angezeigten Herunterzählen der Zeit. Das Programm beginnt, sobald die Zeitvorwahl abgelaufen ist. Sie können die Zeitvorwahl vor dem Drücken der Taste 7 jederzeit abbrechen. Löschen der Zeitvorwahl: • Stellen Sie das Gerät mit der Taste 7 auf Pause, • drücken Sie die Taste 8 , bis das Symbol im Display erlischt, • drücken Sie Taste 7 erneut, um das Programm fortzusetzen.
Am Programmende Das Gerät schaltet automatisch ab. Die Kontrolllampe von Taste 7 erlischt, erscheint permanent im Display, und das akustische Signal ertönt einige Minuten lang. Wurden die Optionen SPÜLSTOPP oder NACHTPROGRAMM ausgewählt, erlischt die Kontrolllampe der Taste 7 , das Display meldet, dass die Tür verriegelt ist und die Option SPÜLSTOPP gewählt wurde; die Tür bleibt verriegelt, um darauf hinzuweisen, dass das Wasser noch abgepumpt werden muss.

Praktische Tipps und Hinweise Entfernen von Flecken Hartnäckige Flecken lassen sich möglicherweise nicht allein mit Wasser und Waschmittel entfernen. Sie sollten daher vor dem Waschen vorbehandelt werden. Blut: Behandeln Sie frische Flecken mit kaltem Wasser. Bereits getrocknete Flecken lassen Sie über Nacht in Wasser mit einem Spezialwaschmittel einweichen.
Reinigung und Pflege 25 Bei der Verwendung von Waschmittelkonzentraten oder Flüssigwaschmitteln muss ein Programm ohne Vorwäsche ausgewählt werden. Die Waschmaschine verfügt über ein Umwälzsystem, welches eine optimale Ausnutzung des Waschmittels ermöglicht. Befolgen Sie die Mengenempfehlungen des Waschmittelherstellers und überschreiten Sie nicht die «MAX»-Markierung in der Waschmittelschublade .
Reinigung und Pflege • Verwenden Sie eine normale Menge Pulverwaschmittel mit Bleichmittel. Reinigung der Außenseiten Reinigen Sie die Außenseiten des Geräts nur mit Seifenlauge und trocknen Sie sie anschließend gründlich. Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen des Gehäuses keinen Brennspiritus, keine Lösungsmittel oder ähnliche Produkte. Waschmittelschublade Die Schublade für das Waschpulver muss regelmäßig gereinigt werden. 1. Entnehmen Sie die Schublade, indem Sie sie mit kräftigem Ruck herausziehen. 2.
Reinigung und Pflege 27 Türdichtung Kontrollieren Sie regelmäßig die Türdichtung und entfernen Sie eventuelle Fremdkörper aus den Falten. Ablaufpumpe Die Pumpe sollte regelmäßig überprüft werden, insbesondere, wenn: • Das Gerät nicht abpumpt und/oder schleudert. • Das Gerät beim Abpumpen ungewöhnliche Geräusche macht, weil Sicherheitsnadeln, Münzen o. ä. die Pumpe blockieren. • Eine Störung beim Wasserablauf besteht (siehe Abschnitt „Was tun, wenn...“).
Reinigung und Pflege 7. 8. Tritt kein Wasser mehr aus, schrauben Sie den Filterdeckel entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn auf und entnehmen Sie den Filter. Verwenden Sie falls erforderlich eine Zange. Halten Sie einen Lappen bereit, um austretendes Wasser aufzuwischen. Reinigen Sie den Filter unter fließendem Wasser, um sämtliche Flusen zu entfernen. Entfernen Sie alle Fremdkörper und Flusen aus der Filteraufnahme und dem Pumpenflügelrad. 9.

Prüfen Sie, ob der Wasserzulauffilter verstopft ist. So reinigen Sie die Wasserzulauffilter: 1. Schließen Sie den Wasserhahn. 2. Schrauben Sie den Schlauch vom Hahn ab. 3. Reinigen Sie den Filter im Schlauch mit einer harten Bürste. 4.
Was tun, wenn … Frostschutzmaßnahmen Wenn die Waschmaschine in einem Raum aufgestellt ist, in dem die Temperatur unter 0°C abfallen kann, ergreifen Sie folgende Vorsichtsmaßnahmen: 1. Schließen Sie den Wasserhahn und schrauben Sie den Wasserzulaufschlauch vom Hahn ab; 2. Stellen Sie einen flachen Behälter auf den Fußboden und lassen Sie das Wasser über den Notentleerungsschlauch in den Behälter laufen; 3.
Was tun, wenn … 31 Drücken Sie nach der Behebung des Problems die Taste 7 , um das Programm neu zu starten. Wenn nach allen Prüfungen das Problem weiterhin besteht, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Kundendienst. Das Gerät pumpt nicht ab und/oder schleudert nicht: Der Ablaufschlauch ist eingeklemmt oder geknickt. « Wasser abpumpen nicht möglich. Prüfen, ob der Filter sauber ist, und dann Taste START/PAUSE drücken. » • Überprüfen Sie den Anschluss des Ablaufschlauchs. Der Ablauffilter ist verstopft.
Was tun, wenn … Problem 33 Mögliche Ursache/Abhilfe Die Waschergebnisse sind unbefriedigend: Sie haben zu wenig Waschmittel oder ein ungeeignetes Waschmittel benutzt. • Erhöhen Sie die Waschmittelmenge oder benutzen Sie ein anderes Waschmittel. Hartnäckige Flecken wurden nicht vorbehandelt. • Verwenden Sie zur Behandlung hartnäckiger Flecken handelsübliche Produkte. Falsche Temperatur ausgewählt. • Überprüfen Sie, ob Sie die korrekte Temperatur gewählt haben. Das Gerät ist überladen.
Technische Daten Problem Mögliche Ursache/Abhilfe Das Schleudern beginnt erst spät oder gar nicht: Die elektronische Unwuchterkennung hat eingegriffen, weil die Wäsche nicht gleichmäßig in der Trommel verteilt ist. Die Wäsche wird neu verteilt, indem die Trommel in die entgegengesetzte Richtung gedreht wird. Dieser Vorgang kann sich einige Male wiederholen, bevor die Unwucht verschwunden ist und das Schleudern fortgesetzt werden kann.

Montage 1. Legen Sie die Maschine nach Entfernen der Verpackung vorsichtig auf die Rückseite, um die Polystyrolplatte unter der Maschine zu entfernen. 2. Entnehmen Sie das Stromkabel und den Ablaufschlauch aus den Schlauchhalterungen auf der Geräterückseite. 3. Die drei Schrauben mit dem Gerät mitgelieferten Schlüssel lösen.
Montage 4. Schieben Sie die entsprechenden Kunststoff-Distanzstücke heraus. 5. Öffnen Sie die Tür und entnehmen Sie den Zulaufschlauch aus der Trommel sowie den Polystyrolblock, der an der Türdichtung befestigt ist. 6. Verschließen Sie das kleinere obere Loch und die beiden größeren Löcher mit den entsprechenden Kunststoffkappen, die sich im Beutel mit der Benutzerinformation befinden. 7. Schließen Sie den Wasserzulaufschlauch wie in Abschnitt "Wasserzulauf" beschrieben an.
Montage Aufstellen und Ausrichten Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einem ebenen, harten Boden auf. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Luftzirkulation um die Maschine herum nicht durch Teppiche, Läufer usw. beeinträchtigt wird. Wenn Sie das Gerät auf kleinformatigen Fliesen aufstellen, legen Sie eine Gummimatte unter. Stellen Sie niemals Pappe, Holz oder ähnliches Material unter das Gerät, um Unebenheiten des Bodens auszugleichen.
Montage 39 3. Schließen Sie den Schlauch korrekt durch Lösen der Ringmutter an. Ziehen Sie die Ringmutter nach dem Positionieren des Zulaufschlauchs wieder fest, um Wasseraustritt zu vermeiden. 4. First use 49 Delay start If you have selected the button 8 , the relevant symbol 9.5 appears on the display. After having pressed the button 7 , the selected delay time value (max 20 hours) appears on the right side of the display with the corrisponding symbol. The delay time value decreases every minute ( 9.8 ). Incorrect option selection If a wrong option is selected the display says that it is not selectable.
Personalization To set the time press repeatedly the button 4 to select the settings menu ( SETTINGS ) and confirm your choice by pressing button 5 . With a single and short pressing of the button 4 , the hours can be adjusted. Press the button 5 to confirm it. Repeat the previous operation for setting the minutes. If the appliance has already been switched on once, refer to the beginning of «Personalization» chapter.
Daily use 51 DAILY USE The appliance is provided with a weight sensor that permits to measure the quantity of laundry loaded into the drum and advises you on the detergent quantity to use. Before switching the appliance on, make sure that the drum is empty. If you do not, the washing will subsequently not be registered properly by the weight sensor. See chapter «Weight sensor». Open the door Open the door by carefully pulling the door handle outwards.
Daily use The weight and the detergent quantity displayed for each programme are indicative and permit to reduce the detergent consumption. The indicating weight screen won’t appear any more when the door is closed and after the button 7 has been pressed to start the washing programme. Load the laundry 1. Place the laundry in the drum, one item at a time, shaking them out as much as possible. 2. Close firmly the door. You must hear a click during closing.
Daily use 53 2. If required, pour fabric softener into the compartment marked (the amount used must not exceed the MAX mark in the drawer). Close the drawer gently. Select the temperature (button 2) Press this button repeatedly to increase or decrease the temperature, if you want your laundry to be washed at a temperature different from the one proposed by the appliance. The maximum temperatures for each washing programme can be checked in the paragraph «Washing programmes». .
Daily use You must select the options after you have selected the programme but before pressing the button 7 . Press the button 4 to activate the option menu. To scroll all the available options, press the button 4 . The corresponding programme name appears in the relative rectangle to indicate that this programme can be selected. Press the button 4 to activate and the button 5 to confirm your choice.

On the display will appear the name and the running phase of the selected programme to indicate that the appliance starts operating and the door is locked. To interrupt a programme which is running, press the button 7 : the corresponding red pilot light starts to flash, while the display says that the appliance is in pause.
• If the display says that the appliance is in pause, the door can be opened • If the display says alternately that the appliance is in pause and the door is locked, this means that the machine is already heating, that the water level is above the bottom edge of the door or that the drum is turning: in this case the door can not be opened • If you cannot open the door but you need to open it you have to switch the machine .

Helpful hints and tips HELPFUL HINTS AND TIPS Sorting out the laundry Follow the wash code symbols on each garment label and the manufacturer’s washing instructions. Sort the laundry as follows: whites, coloureds, synthetics, delicates, woollens. Before loading the laundry Never wash whites and coloureds together. Whites may lose their «whiteness» in the wash. New coloured items may run in the first wash; they should therefore be washed separately the first time.
Care and cleaning 63 The choice of detergent will depend on the type of fabric (delicates, woollens, cottons, etc.), the colour, washing temperature and degree of soiling. All commonly available washing machine detergents may be used in this appliance: • powder detergents for all types of fabric • powder detergents for delicate fabrics (60°C max) and woollens • liquid detergents, preferably for low temperature wash programmes (60°C max) for all types of fabric, or special for woollens only.
Care and cleaning Maintenance wash With the use of low temperature washes it is possible to get a build up of residues inside the drum. We recommend that a maintenance wash be performed on a regular basis. To run a maintenance wash: • The drum should be empty of laundry. • Select the hottest cotton wash programme. • Use a normal measure of detergent, must be a powder with biological properties.
Care and cleaning 65 Programme: Short Cotton Programme at maximum temperature and add approx. 1/4 measuring cup of detergent. Door seal Check from time to time the door seal and objects that could be trapped in the fold. Drain pump The pump should be inspected regularly and particularly if: • the appliance does not empty and/or spin; • the appliance makes an unusual noise during draining due to objects such as safety pins, coins etc.
Care and cleaning 7. 8. When no more water comes out, unscrew the pump cover by turning it anticlockwise and remove the filter. Use pliers, if necessary. Always keep a rag nearby to dry up any water spillages when removing the cover. Clean the filter under a tap, to remove any traces of fluff. Remove foreign bodies and fluff from the filter seat and from the pump impeller. 9. Check carefully whether the pump impeller rotates (it rotates jerkily).
Care and cleaning 67 Cleaning the water inlet filters If the appliance doesn't fill, it takes a long time to fill with water, the starting button blinks yellow or the display (if available) shows the relevant alarm (see chapter "What to do if..." for more details), check if the water inlet filters are blocked . To clean the water inlet filters: 1. Turn off the water tap. 2. Unscrew the hose from the tap. 3. Clean the filter in the hose with a stiff brush. 4. Screw the hose back onto the tap.
What to do if… Frost precautions If the machine is installed in a place where the temperature could drop below 0°C, proceed as follows: 1. close the water tap and unscrew the water inlet hose from the tap; 2. place the end of the emergency emptying hose and that of the inlet hose in a bowl placed on the floor and let water drain out; 3. screw the water inlet hose back on and reposition the emergency emptying hose after having put the cap on again.
What to do if… Problem 69 Possible cause/Solution The washing machine does not start: The door has not been closed. « Please check that the door is closed properly and then press START/PAUSE » • Close the door firmly. The plug is not properly inserted in the power socket. • Insert the plug into the power socket. There is no power at the socket. • Please check your domestic electrical installation. The main fuse has blown. • Replace the fuse.

The machine vibrates or is noisy: The transit bolts and packing have not been removed. • Check the correct installation of the appliance. The support feet have not been adjusted • Check the correct levelling of the appliance.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS INSTALLATION Unpacking All transit bolts and packing must be removed before using the appliance. You are advised to keep all transit devices so that they can be refitted if the machine ever has to be transported again. 1.
Installation 3. Unscrew the three bolts with the key supplied with the machine. 4. Slide out the relevant plastic spacers. 5. Open the porthole, take out the inlet hose from the drum and remove the polystyrene block fitted on the door seal.
Installation 75 6. Fill the smaller upper hole and the two large ones with the corresponding plastic plug caps supplied in the bag containing the instruction booklet. 7. Connect the water inlet hose as described under the paragraph «Water inlet». Positioning and levelling Install the machine on a flat hard floor. Make sure that air circulation around the machine is not impeded by carpets, rugs etc. Before placing it on small tiles, apply a rubber coating.
Installation 1. Open the porthole and extract the inlet hose. 2. Connect the hose with the angled connection to the machine. Do not place the inlet hose downwards. Angle the hose to the left or right depending on the position of your water tap. 3. Set the hose correctly by loosening the ring nut. After positioning the inlet hose, be sure to tighten the ring nut again to prevent leaks. 4. Connect the hose to a tap with a 3/4” thread. Always use the hose supplied with the appliance.
Installation 77 Water-stop device The inlet hose is provided with a water stop device, which protects against damage caused by water leaks in the hose which could develop due to natural ageing of the hose. This fault is shown by a red sector in the window «A» . Should this occur, turn the water tap off and refer to your Service Centre to replace the hose. A Water drainage The end of the drain hose can be positioned in three ways: 1.
Electrical connection The drain hose may be extended to a maximum of 4 metres. An additional drain hose and joining piece is available from your local Service Centre. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION Information on the electrical connection is given on the rating plate on the inner edge of the appliance door. Check that your domestic electrical installation can take the maximum load required, also taking into account any other appliances in use. WARNING! Connect the machine to an earthed socket.
