Les clayettes
Les glissières se trouvant sur les
parois de la cuve permettent de
positionner les clayettes à différen-
tes hauteurs selon vos besoins.
Seule la clayette située sur le(s) bac(s)
à légumes doit rester à cet emplace-
ment.
Pour retirer les clayettes, tirez-les vers
vous et soulevez-les.
Placez le thermostat sur la position 6 pendant 2 heures environ, avant
d’introduire les produits surgelés ou congelés dans le compartiment
congélateur.
Ramenez ensuite le thermostat sur la position d’utilisation normale.
2. Si vous n’utilisez pas immédiatement le congélateur
Les repères 1 et 4 étant des repères extrêmes, effectuez un premier réglage
sur une position intermédiaire (2 ou 3) en tenant compte des remarques ci-
dessous. Ensuite, seule votre expérience vous permettra de déterminer la
position convenant le mieux.
A la 1ère utilisation du compartiment congélateur :
Placez directement les produits surgelés ou congelés dans le compartiment
congélateur.
Remarque 1 :
La température à l’intérieur de l’appareil est fonction de plusieurs facteurs,
tels que la température ambiante, la quantité de denrées stockées, la fré-
quence d’ouverture des portes, etc...Prenez ces facteurs en considération lors
du réglage du thermostat.
Remarque 2 :
Si l’évaporateur (paroi du fond du réfrigérateur) se couvre anormalement de
givre (appareil trop chargé, température ambiante élevée, ouvertures fré-
quentes de la porte), ramenez progressivement la manette du thermostat
sur une position inférieure jusqu'à obtenir de nouveau des périodes d’arrêt
du compresseur. En effet, le dégivrage automatique du compartiment
réfrigérateur ne s’effectue que si le compresseur s’arrête par intermittence..

Switching off the appliance
If the appliance is not going to be used for an extended period:
1. Remove all refrigerated and deep-frozen packages as well as ice trays.
2. Switch off the appliance by turning the temperature regulator to position
"0".
3. Remove the mains plug or switch off or turn out the circuit breaker or fuse.
4. Defrost freezer compartment and clean thoroughly (see section: “Cleaning
and Care”).
5. Leave the door open to avoid the build up of odours.
Cleaning and Care
For hygienic reasons the appliance interior, including interior accessories,
should be cleaned regularly.
Warning!
• The appliance may not be connected to the mains during cleaning. Dan-
ger of electrical shock! Before cleaning switch the appliance offand rem
ve the plug from the mains, or switch off or turn out the circuit breaker
or fuse.
• Never clean the appliance with a steam cleaner. Moisture could accumu-
late in electrical components, danger of electrical shock! Hot vapours can
lead to the damage of plastic parts.
• The appliance must be dry before it is placed back into service.
Attention!
• Ethereal oils and organic solvents can attack plastic parts, e.g.
– lemon juice or the juice from orange peals;
– butyric acid;
– cleansers which contain acetic acid.
Do not allow such substances to come into contact with appliance parts.
• Do not use any abrasive cleansers.
1. Remove frozen food and the food from the refrigerator. Wrap frozen
food in several layers of newspaper. Store it in a cool place, well covered.
2. Defrost the freezer compartment prior to cleaning (see "Defrosting" sec-
tion).
3. Switch the appliance off and remove the plug from the mains, or switch off
or turn out the circuit breaker or fuse.
