OPERATING YOUR GAS HOB Burner Cap Fit the Burner parts to the hob Flame Spreader Rotate the parts until they fit info each other (2= 3 3 Burner Head Fit the two pan supports 1 Turn on the gas and electricity supply < Hob Top Turn on one boomer by pressing the knob down and turning anti-clockwise to the simmer (small Siam} position. At the same time press and hold the spark button until the burner fights. Then adjust the fame 1o the height required. Repeat with other three burners.
TROUBLESHOOTING Before you call service check the following points: ELECTRIC HOB SMELLS WHEN FIRST USED RUST APPEARS ON PLATES STAINLESS STEEL SPILLING DISCOLORS HOB DOES NOT WORK AT ALL GAS UNEVEN OR YELLOW FLAME BURNER FAILS TO IGNITE SPARK BUT NO GAS SMELL GAS This is normal and is caused by the protective film burning off. The plates are made from Cast from o this is possible. Clean and oil as per instructions. This is perfect normal and happens to ali plates of this kind.
