This appliance is easy to use. it is, however, important to thoroughly read the instructions in this handbook in order fo obtain the best results.

D 1) SWITCHING ON THE ELECTRIC PLATES The hobs may be equipped with three types of electric plates: normal plates, rapid plates indicated by a red mark, and automatic with a spring disc called touch probe in the center, which touches the pan during the cooking process. The normal plates and the rapid plates are controlled by a 7 position switch (see fig. 1), while the automatic plates are controlled by a 13 position switch (see fig. 2).
IMPORTANT: When the piste is switched on for the first time, or if it has remained unused for a dong period, it should be dried for 30 minutes on switch position n° 1. This will eliminate any moisture that may have been absorbed by the insulating material. Iris essential to always use pans with fiat and very thick bottoms (see fig. 3). Never use pans that are smaller than the plates (see fig. 3). Always dry the bottom of the pan before placing it on the plate.
IMPORTANT Always disconnect the appliance from the electricity main before carrying out any cleaning operation. 3) HOT PLATE Always keep the hob plates clean and dry. To prevent the formation of rust, it is advisable to wipe the plates after use with an oil soaked cloth. This will esp their surfaces bright. Any split liquid must always be wiped off with a cloth. Never wash them while they are still hot and never use abrasive powders.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION FOR THE INSTALLER Installation, adjustments of controls and maintenance must only be carried out by a qualified engineer. Incorrect installation may cause damage to persons, animals or property for which the Manufacturer sail not be considered responsible. 4) INSTALLING THE HOT PLATE Check that the appliance is in a good condition after having removed the outer packaging and internal wrappings from around the various Jose parts.
6) ELECTRICAL CONNECTION @ . Any electrical work required to install this hob should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person, in accordance with the current regulations. A THIS HOB MUST BE EARTHED The manufacturer declines any liability should these safety measures not be observed. This hob is designed to be connected to a 230-240V 50Hz AC electrical supply. Before switching on, make sure the electricity supply voltage is the same as that indicated on the hob rating plate.
