Displaying date and year
1. Switch the device to standby using the
button (3).
2. Brieypressthe Y-M-D button (8) repeatedly.
If the button is no longer pressed, the display will switch back to time after about 4 sec-
onds.
Toggling the display
The following can be shown alternatingly on the display:

1. In order to activate this function, use the
button (3) to switch the device to standby.
2. Keep the / button (5) pressed, until “ ”appearsbrieyonthedisplay.
Switch off toggling: To switch off Auto Toggle, keep the
/ button pressed again in
standby. “ ”appearsbrieyonthedisplay.
NOTE:
Only the time is shown via the rotatable projector (10).
Setting the Clock
Automatic (in Standby only)
• Afterpluggingthemainsplugintothesocket,thetimedatafromtheDCF77station
is automatically transferred after a few minutes. As long as the “
”symbolisashing,
the device is searching for the radio signal. If a radio signal has been found, the “
symbol lights up. The correct time appears on the display.
• Thetimeisautomaticallyadjustedonthehourbythestationsignal.
• Duringsummertime“DST
” appears in the display.
NOTE:
Thesignalcanbereceivedwithoutproblemswithinaradiusofapprox.2000kmaround
Frankfurt / Main, but interference may occur, depending on local conditions. This may
occurespeciallyinbuildingscontainingahighpercentageofmetal,aswellasinproxim-
ity to TV sets, PCs, mobile phones etc. which are switched on! If the reception cannot
be automatically adjusted after 10 minutes in spite of the alignment of the integrated
antenna, the reception in the respective location is too weak. In this case, set the time
manually or change location.
