USB Port (Fig. 1/11)
Plug a USB storage device directly into the correct port of the device.
NOTE:
The USB port is not designed for charging external devices.
The USB port is only intended for playing media files from commercially
available USB sticks.
Card Slot (Fig. 1/1)
Insert an MMC / SD or MS card with the label facing back in the card slot of the
device.
For further use with a USB storage device or memory card, please refer to section
Page 45 “Work in Data Mode”.
Switching on the Device (Fig. 1/15; Fig. 2/2)
Turn the device on by sliding the “ON/OFF” main switch on the side of the
device to “ON”. The buttons / / / (Fig. 1/7) and / (Fig. 2/9) light
up red.
NOTE:
In Dual mode, the DVD MONITOR must be switched on so that the power
supply is fed to the second monitor.
Connect to Other Devices
Connect an AV cable to the AV IN socket (Fig. 2/3) and to the playback
device to view images of another playback device (such as digital camera).
NOTE:
Other devices can only be connected to the LCD Monitor (slave monitor).
Connect a coaxial cable (not included) to transmit the digital audit signal to your
playback device or your amplifier.
1. Plug the Audio plug into the COAXIAL socket of the DVD monitor (Fig. 1/12).
2. Insert the audio plug into the corresponding socket of your playback device
or your amplifier.
Connect an A/V cable to AV OUT (Fig. 1/13) and to the TV set to view images on
the TV set.
Switch the TV set to AV IN. Observe the TV’s user manual.
NOTE:
You need an audio cable with a 4-pin 3.5 mm jack plug to cinch socket, with a
pin length of 15 mm.
LCD Monitor - Change Display Settings
Press the MODE button (Fig. 2/8), to display the Setup menu.
Use the
and buttons (Fig. 2/9) to select the option. Use the and
buttons (Fig. 2/7) to change the setting.
