The meat thermometer takes the guesswork out of roasting meat
regardless of whether you use the conventional, hot air or
Rotitherm roasting/grilling method.
A thermo couple is located in the tip of the meat thermometer
which “senses” the temperatures. When the meat thermometer is
plugged into the side of the oven, the oven will work automatically
until the temperature inside the meat is the same as the one you
selected on the electronic timer.
WARNING: Only use the meat thermometer supplied with
the oven. If a replacement becomes necessary only use a
meat thermometer ordered from AEG Spare Parts Depart
ment.
1 Insert the meat thermometer horizontally into the thickest part
of the joint and push the probe into the joint until the tip is as
near to the centre of the joint as possible making sure to avoid
bones and fat. Position meat pan in the oven.
2. Insert the meat thermometer plug firmly into the socket on the
inside of the oven.
A temperature of 60 C appears in display H of my electronic
clock. This temperature can be increased or descreased as
required.
