Temperature Warning
The red warning display and the temperature display flashes and an
audible warning sounds, as soon as the temperature in the freezer com-
partment is warmer than -11 °C.
A rise in temperature may be caused by:
– frequent door opening for long periods of time;
– loading with large quantities of warm foods;
– high ambient temperature;
– an error with the appliance.
0 1. You can cancel the warning tone with the WARNING OFF button.
The temperature display for the freezer indicates the warmest tempera-
ture the freezer has reached during the temperature alarm period. After
approx. 5 seconds the temperature display reverts to the current freezer
temperature.

While the current freezer temperature is above -11 °C, the warmest
temperature the freezer has reached during the alarm period is stored
and can be called up as often as wished by pressing the WARNING OFF
button.
When the temperature in the freezer falls below -11 °C, the warning
tone switches off automatically. The red warning indicator will con-
tinue to flash.
If the WARNING OFF button is pressed now, the red warning indicator
switches off. In addition, the temperature display will show for five sec-
onds the highest temperature the frozen food has warmed to. Then the
display will change to the current freezer temperature. The stored high-
est temperature is now erased.
Attention! If suspicion of partial or complete thawing exists, please
check the quality of the foods to determine if they can be used.
Function Errors
If the appliance electronics detects a technical fault that needs to be
rectified by customer service, the temperature display shows a square in
the lower part of the temperature display. The red warning indicator
flashes. The appliance will continue to operate in emergency mode.
