Note: If no confirmation within 10 second or the STOP button is pressed during each setting step, the
A/M will keep the old setting.
2.3 Set number of rings to answer, default rings – 3 rings
Press and hold the ‘Ring’ button for 2 seconds A short beep to start set rings, prompt ‘Please set
ring’, pause then prompt & display current rings

Press ‘FF’ or ‘RW’ to select 2 - 9 rings or toll saver Prompt at each selection.
Press ‘Ring’ button to accept setting Prompt setting then back to standby or off mode.

2.4 Set security code, default codes - 321
Press and hold the ‘Code’ button for 2 seconds A short beep to start set code, prompt ‘Set security
code’, pause then prompt the first code, display
symbol ‘S1’.
Press ‘FF’ or ‘RW’ to select the 1 st digit Prompt at each selection.
Press ‘Code’ button to accept setting and jump to set
the next digit
Prompt first digit selected and a short beep then
prompt second code, display symbol ‘S2’.
Press ‘FF’ or ‘RW’ to select the 2 nd digit Prompt at each selection.
Press ‘Code’ button to accept setting and jump to set
the next digit
Prompt second digit selected and a short beep then
prompt third code, display symbol ‘S3’.
Press ‘FF’ or ‘RW’ to select 3 rd digit Prompt at each selection.
Press ‘Code’ button to accept setting Prompt the third digit selected and a long beep then
prompt the three selected codes. Then back to standby
or off mode.
Note: Press ‘Stop’ button at any time or the A/M wait for the code key press more than the “10 seconds
time out” limit, the A/M will quit setting and back to standby or off mode. All setting will be unchanged.
3. Message play back
3.1 No message
Press ‘Play’ button Prompt ‘You have no message’
3.2 There is(are) message(s.)
Press ‘Play’ button Prompt number of message and number of new
message, then a short beep + day/time stamp and play
message, then a short beep + day/time stamp and next
message. If there is no more message, a long beep,
prompt ‘End of message’ to end play back
During play back press ‘RW’ button Replay the current message again start from begin
During play back press ‘RW’ twice in a second Backward to the previous message
During play back press ‘FF’ button Skip the current message and go to next message
During play back press ‘Pause’ button The message is pause and lasts for 30 sec. To
continue the playback, press ‘Play/Pause’ button
again. Otherwise, after 30 sec. pause, it stops the
playback mode automatically. During “pause” the
display symbol is ‘| |’.
