General Information To get the best results from your new oven please read these instructions carefully, You should pay particular attrition to cooking times and gas mark settings as these may differ from your previous oven. Preheating You don't usually dean fo preheat the grill, You may wish to preheat it for a couple of minutes when you are couching steak or browning food. Putting food on the grid Place food such as toast, tea-cakes and muffing towards the center of the grid. if you put food outside this area it may require rotating during cooking. Place food which deans & more gentle heat, such as tomatoes and mushrooms towards the edge of the grid.
The grill pan and handle “The grit pan has a removable handle. This should be removed during rifling. To attach the handle, pass the button on the handier with your thumb. Lift the candle upwards slightly and put it in o the widest part of the grill pan bracket. Move the handier 1o tha left and lower lino position. You can now release the button. Make sure the handle is firmly located.
The oven Before you use the oven you should wipe it out with & damp cloth. This wolf move any dust. When you first tum the oven on you will be able to smell residues from the GAS MARK ova surfaces being burnt off. it may be necessary to open a window for TEMPERATURE ventilation, ‘The smell will disappear after using the oven a few times. Heat zones There are zones of heat within tha oven. The temperature in the middle is the gas mark you have chosen.
Baking trays and dishes For your safety Never place consoling dishes, trays and $0 o over the oven boomer, This will damage the oven as wile as the ovenware and possibly the cabinet underneath the oven. Leave a gap of 13mm between all dishes and the sides of the oven s the heat can circulate properly. not push dishes too far back as food will burn if it overhangs the boomer tames. Slow cooking “The slow cook setting gives a very low heat in the oven, It is particularly useful when you are cooking soups, stews and casseroles because the long slow cooking will make cheaper, rougher cuts of meat mare tender. Do not overfill dishes or they will boil over, 2 fi Do not use dishes too high in the oven, f you do they may stick to the grief burner. Caver your roasting ting with foil. This will prevent fat splashing. Use a roasting tin which is just large enough for the meat and potatoes. This will help to reduce fat splashing, Dry any vegetables that you are going to roast. if they are wet there will be more fat splashing.
Cleaning between the outer and inner door glass You can remove the grass from the oven door if you need to. To remove the outer glass 1 Open tha oven door 50 you can get at the two cross head screws on the top of the oven door, 2 Loosen hes screws using a overdrive screwdriver. 3 You should hold the door sags securely In place with one hand, whilst removing the screws completely, with the other hand. if you do not do this, the door glass could fall forward.
What Is wrong and why? ‘Wae strongly recommend that you cray out the following checks on your ova before calling a Service Engineer. Problem The oven or grill will not light. Check # Check hat the oven i switched on at the wall. * Check that the timer is set to manual’ (See page 18). * Check that the power supply has ot been interrupted before the cooling fan has had time to cool the oven down. Check that the oven is switched on al the wall and allow the cooling fan to cool the oven down.

This appliance must be connected to a 220v-240V ac. 50Hz supply which incorporates a 8 ampere fuse. any other type of plug Is used it should incorporate a 5 ampere ruse in dither the plug or adapter or at the distribution board. The appliance is supplied with 2 meters (8.5 ft) of 5 ampere 3 core cave fitted with a modular pig.

6. Checking the main oven controls To sat the clock {See Fig. 8) 1 Tum on electricity supply and wienie that the thermostat is in the off position. . 2 Press the two buttons marked and whitey holding them down, press tha increase control button and if necessary, the decrease control button (3 unit the correct time on the 24 our clack Dot OQOOO0O Note: The increase and decrease control buttons operate slowly at first, and then more rapidly. Servicing SERVICING NOTES Disconnect the electricity supply and turn off the gas supply before servicing any gas carrying components. Amer servicing turn on the gas supply and check for gas soundness. After servicing ensure that the serviced components and appliance operate correctly. Removal of fascia panel Remove the gas control knobs, springs, bezels and timer control knobs. Remove the four screws (two each side} which are visible on the underside of the fascia. Fig. 9.

Removal of the grill burner injector 1 Remove grill burner see Section K. 2 The injector may be removed from the injector block through the aperture in the rear of the cavity with a 7mm box spanner (see Fig.17). 3 Re-assemble in reverse larder ensuring the injector and block union is gas tight. N. Partial or full removal of the appliance from the cabinet Fig.17 Turn off both the gas and electric supplies. Remove the oven door see Section D.
Remove the cam from the tap spindle (remove the fascia if necessary see Section A). Remove the two screws securing the tap 1o the gas rail and remove the lag. Removal of spark generator Turnover the appliance from the cabinet {see Section N). Unscrew the seven straws which secure the top pans and remove it.

Removal of oven door micro switch 1 Remove the appliance from the cabinet {see Section N). 2 Unscrew fhe six screws which secure the left hand side panel and remove it, 3 Disconnect both wires to the door micro switch, 4 Unscrew the three screws which secure the micro switch assembly (see Fig.18) and remove it 5 Remove the two nuts and bolts which secure the micro switch. B Reassemble in reverse order ensuring the card is correctly positioned between switch and the bracket.
