The DVB-T Receiver

The signals received from the aerial cannot be processed by a television

set. They are processed in the built-in DVB receiver in such a way that

audio and video signals (AV) are available at its outputs, which are then

passed on to the television set.

DVB-T stands for:

Digital Video Broadcasting Terrestrial: a digital, universal transmission

technology for pictures, graphics, sound and text, i.e. for data in every

conceivable form and in every possible appropriate quality.

 NOTE:

This function can only be used if it is supported by the selected

station.

The built-in DVB-T receiver has an electronic programme magazine. This

makes it possible to depict the information of the individual channels on

the screen. Here you can  nd an overview of the channels currently being

shown as well as the following ones.

The EPG Function allows you:

 to show information on programme content on the screen.

 to highlight programmes for which a reminder window is automati-

cally shown at the beginning of the programme.

In order to access the EPG menu, press the EPG (Fig. 3/19) button during

DVB-T operation. The EPG information window appears:

 Current channel (1).

 Current programme (2).

 Following programme (3).

 Current date and time (4).

Use the cursor buttons (Fig. 3/28) to select the „Channel“ line and

con rm with the ENTER (Fig. 3/7) button in order to display more EPG

information.

The displayed window shows the programmes of the same day.

Additional information can be called up with the number keys (1-4).

 1. Info: Further information on the programme.

 2. Prev: Programme of the previous day.

 3. Next: Programme of the following day.

 4. Detail: Contents of the programme.

Reserving Programmes

From the EPG menu it is possible to reserve programmes.

1. Use the cursor buttons (Fig. 3/28) to select the desired programme

and press the ENTER (Fig. 3/7) button to con rm.

2. An information window appears. Select „OK“ to reserve the pro-

gramme or „Cancel“ to cancel the procedure. Con rm your selection

with the ENTER button.
