The DVB-T Receiver
The signals received from the aerial cannot be processed by a television
set. They are processed in the built-in DVB receiver in such a way that
audio and video signals (AV) are available at its outputs, which are then
passed on to the television set.
DVB-T stands for:
Digital Video Broadcasting Terrestrial: a digital, universal transmission
technology for pictures, graphics, sound and text, i.e. for data in every
conceivable form and in every possible appropriate quality.
NOTE:
This function can only be used if it is supported by the selected
station.
The built-in DVB-T receiver has an electronic programme magazine. This
makes it possible to depict the information of the individual channels on
the screen. Here you can nd an overview of the channels currently being
shown as well as the following ones.
The EPG Function allows you:
to show information on programme content on the screen.
to highlight programmes for which a reminder window is automati-
cally shown at the beginning of the programme.
In order to access the EPG menu, press the EPG (Fig. 3/19) button during
DVB-T operation. The EPG information window appears:
Current channel (1).
Current programme (2).
Following programme (3).
Current date and time (4).
Use the cursor buttons (Fig. 3/28) to select the „Channel“ line and
con rm with the ENTER (Fig. 3/7) button in order to display more EPG
information.
The displayed window shows the programmes of the same day.
Additional information can be called up with the number keys (1-4).
1. Info: Further information on the programme.
2. Prev: Programme of the previous day.
3. Next: Programme of the following day.
4. Detail: Contents of the programme.
Reserving Programmes
From the EPG menu it is possible to reserve programmes.
1. Use the cursor buttons (Fig. 3/28) to select the desired programme
and press the ENTER (Fig. 3/7) button to con rm.
2. An information window appears. Select „OK“ to reserve the pro-
gramme or „Cancel“ to cancel the procedure. Con rm your selection
with the ENTER button.
