5.1 Switching the appliance on
and off
Press to switch the appliance on or
off.
5.2 Top oven functions
Oven function Application
Light To light up the oven interior.
True Fan
To bake and roast on one oven level at
the same time. Decrease the oven tem-
peratures (20-40 °C) compared with Con-
ventional.
Fan Baking
To bake on one oven level with a more in-
tensive browning and a crispy base. Set
the oven temperatures 20-40 °C lower
than when using Conventional.
Slow Cook
To prepare very lean, tender roasted
food.
Rotitherm Roasting
To roast larger joints of meat or poultry
on one level. Also to gratinate and brown.
Full Grill
To grill flat food in large quantities. To
toast bread.
Economy Grill
To grill flat food items in small quantities
in the middle of the grill. To make toast.
Fan Controlled De-
frosting
To defrost frozen food.
Base Heating Fin-
ishing
To bake cakes with crispy or crusty bases
and to preserve food.
