− BGV A8 (Safety and health protection warnings in the work-
place)
• Immediately report any damage to the equipment and electrical
installations to the equipment owner.
• Only use spare parts approved by AEG PS for maintenance
and repair work.
• Check that the PPE and the tools are in perfect working order
before beginning work; report defects to the equipment owner.
• Use the PPE as intended.
• Do not wear loose clothing, a watch or jewellery. Use a hair net
if you have long hair.
• Mount the safety equipment and covers correctly after complet-
ing the work.
• Stow away the operating instructions in the document com-
partment of the equipment.
1.9.4 Obligations of Transport Personnel:
• Read and understand the operating instructions before begin-
ning work. Know and observe the safety instructions. ( Chap-
ter 2)
• Ensure compliance with the following regulations:
− The regulations on accident prevention applicable in the
country where the system is used and the generally applica-
ble safety regulations as defined in standard VDE 0100-410
(IEC 364)
− BGV D8 (Hoists, lifting gear and traction gear)
− BGV D27 (Industrial trucks)
• Check that the PPE and the equipment are in perfect working
order before beginning work; report defects to the equipment
owner.
• Use the PPE as intended.
• Report possible damage to the equipment from transport to the
equipment owner.
