Entry of water into electrical equipment
Risk to life due to electric shock.
Do not use water to clean the cabinets.
Do not place any vessels containing fluids (beverage cups,

in or on electrical equipment.
• The inside of the equipment must not come into contact with

responsible for work and for the equipment.
2.5 Safety Signs
Safety and warning signs identify danger spots and are laid out
according to DIN ISO 3864 and ANSI Z535.4.
All safety instructions have the following structure:
SIGNAL WORD
Type and source of hazard
Possible consequence(s) of noncompliance.
Measures and prohibitions for avoiding the hazard.
Table 2 - Warning associated with operator action
Warning signs (BGV A8, DIN 4844, ISO 7010) are to be used for
permanent prohibitions, warnings, requirements and other safety-
relevant instructions.
Their effectiveness must not be impaired by other signs. To ensure
safety signs remain easily visible, using a large number of them
together in one place should be avoided.
