Unit exhaust air temperature limit value
(1) If the highest exhaust air temperature rises above the limit val-
ue, the fans that were turned down or switched off are
switched on or turned up to a faster fan stage.
(2) If the highest exhaust air temperature drops below the limit
value, the fans are operated in a slower fan stage or are
switched off.
Minimum time in the highest fan stage
Start-up time in the highest fan stage until the measurement result
of the highest exhaust air temperature is below the limit value for
switching the fans to the slower fan stage.
5.3.3 IGBT Stack Fan Parameters
The variable fan speed is determined linearly using an x-y charac-
teristic curve of the relevant measured temperature.
IGBT stack temperature limit value
(1) If the IGBT stack temperature rises above the limit value, the
fans that were turned down or switched off are switched back
on or turned up to a faster fan stage.
(2) If the highest IGBT temperature drops below the limit value,
the fans are operated in a slower fan stage or are switched off.
Minimum time in the fast fan stage
Start-up time in the fastest fan stage until the measurement result
of the highest exhaust air temperature is below the limit value for
switching the fans to the slower fan stage.
5.3.4 Air Recirculation Fan Parameters
Switch on delay
When feeding into the mains is taking place, the recirculation fans
are not switched on by the control unit occurs until after this time
has elapsed.
Run-on time
If there is no more feeding into the mains, the fans run on for a cer-
tain time and are then switched off by the control unit.
5.4 Heating
5.4.1 Heating Control
The A86.x heating units are controlled via the sensors of a ther-
mostat and a hydrostat in the AC/DC and INV control cabinet.
5.4.2 Parameters
Temperature
If the temperature in the OD cabinet falls below 10 °C, the heating
units are switched on.
