6.3 Transport

he Protect PV.6x0/8x0-OD consists of a compact housing which
can be transported by a forklift truck or crane and suitable load-
carrying equipment (traverse cross bars or crane grabs).

Select the lifting gear and load-carrying equipment according
to the total weight to be transported.
Technical data

Observe instructions for transport.
Do not remove the centre of gravity information from
the unit before transporting.

Protect the equipment from damage due to collision, shock or
dirt when being transported.
6.3.1 Crane Transport
DANGER
Suspended loads during transport
Possibility of death or crushing.
Select lifting gear according to the total weight to be trans-
ported.
Do not step under suspended loads.
Secure the danger zone.
Wear personal protective equipment.
Prerequisites
• Remove the roof before transporting using a crane.
Warning
Extremely heavy roof
Serious injuries are possible.
Lift with at least two people.
Secure the danger zone.
