7 Installation
i
T
he safety of inverters in photovoltaic equipment must be
compliant with DIN EN 62109-1.
7.1 Foundation
The Protect PV.6x0/8x0-OD requires a frost-proof foundation. The
owner is responsible for building the foundation.
We recommend using a base made of prefabricated lightweight
concrete, which can be assembled and screwed together on site.
The base requires an even ground level (at least 2400 x 1000 mm)
with a top coating made of lean concrete, for example, depending
on the available building area.
7.2 Cable Routing
All external cables must be routed up to the installation location in
accordance with country-specific regulations.
Route DC/AC power cables and control cables in separate cable
trenches. In the case of parallel routing, the distance between the
cables should be at least 500 mm in order to prevent any recipro-
cal influence. Make cable intersections at angles of 90° if possible.
