1.1 Validity
These instructions relate to the technical specifications of the
equipment at the time of publication. These instructions are a
component part of the system.
Legal claims arising from this contractual relationship shall only be
recognised by AEG Power Solutions GmbH subject to the terms
agreed under the warranty obligation in the main contract.
1.2 Appropriate Use
The Protect PV.600/800 series is used for converting the direct
current generated in solar cells into alternating current for the
mains supply. The Protect PV.xxx-OD is a compact unit for instal-
lation outdoors.
Protect PV.600 series with power rating of 630 to 690 KVA
Protect PV.800 series with power rating of 800 to 880 kVA
A transformer (external) is connected to the equipment for electri-
cal isolation purposes. The supply is fed into:
Medium voltage mains of 10, 20 or 33 kV
In order to optimise the equipment, two Protect PVs can be con-
nected to one 1.20/1.38 MW to 1.60/1/76 MW system. A joint
transformer with an electrically isolated low-voltage connection for
each Protect PV can be used to achieve this.
The equipment may only be used for this purpose. Any other use
constitutes misuse and can endanger personal safety.
1.3 Liability
No liability will be accepted in the event of unintended use or mis-
use.
The responsibility for any measures necessary for the prevention
of personal injury or damage to property is borne by the owner or
user.
