The transmission topology of the Modbus interface (connector X5)
is set by means of the two configuration jumper blocks (J4/J5).
RS-485 is set at the factory.
In order to be able to use the Modbus interface as a point-to-point
connection via RS-232, you must remove all jumpers from block 4
and plug them in on block J5.

7.7.1 Description of Interfaces
Port 1: Serial interface X2, RS-232 pin assignment
The potential-free serial RS-232 interface at connector X2 is de-
signed for parameterising the interfaces on the MCC via a terminal
program, and for special service tools.
A 1:1 data cable is required.
