8 Commissioning

The equipment must be absolutely dry prior to commissioning.
There must be no condensation; if necessary, dry the equip-
ment.
DANGER
Working with voltages up to 1 kV
Risk to life due to electric shock.
Comply with BGV A3, DIN VDE 0105 (EN 50110).
Skilled personnel with a Working with Live Current certifi-
cate.

Establish the PE conductor connection before commissioning
the equipment.

Once the equipment has been installed properly, initial com-
missioning is carried out by service employees of AEG Power
Solutions or by skilled personnel trained by AEG PS.
WARNING
Noise level of about 85 dB(A)
Hearing impairment possible.
Wear hearing protection.
Special AEG Power Solutions software and hardware tools must
be used for initial commissioning. Only skilled personnel trained by
AEG PS are in a position to use these tools correctly and to per-
form initial commissioning.
8.1 Testing
Following installation, the following aspects of the equipment must
be tested again for the subsequent commissioning process:
• Screw connections are fastened and that the required tighten-
ing torque has been used
• The connections are correct (compliance with the circuit dia-
gram)
• Material debris and tools have been removed
• The connection covers are complete and secure
• The protective covers are complete
The test must be recorded in line with the AEG PS checklist.
