Audio output
Here you specify the settings for the digital Audio output.
OFF: Output of an analogue Audio signal, but no digital signal.
RAW: Output of a digital Audio signal. Use this setting if your ampli-
er is notwo-channel stereo amplier.
PCM: Output of a digital Audio signal that is converted to a 2-chan-
nel signal. Use this setting if your amplier is a two-channel stereo
amplier.
NOTE:
If there is no Audio output, even though you connected the DVD-

setting for the Audio output.

Change the characteristics of the speaker output:
LT/RT: Choose this setting if you want to play the DVD with the Pro Logic
Dolby stereo eect. This produces a almost real 2-channel replay eect.
Stereo: Choose this setting if you want to play a DVD, that has been
produced in the 5.1-Audio format, as 2-channel stereo sound.
VSS: You may probably not have a 5.1-Audio system. In this case you
can use the “VSS”-setting to simulate a similar sound eect.
5.1 CH: Select this setting to transmit the Audio signal to the output
device without changes.
NOTE:
The “SUBWOOFER”, “CENTER”, “CENTER DELAY”, “REAR” and “REAR
DELAY” menus only appear if the “5.1CH” option is enabled on the
“DOWNMIX” menu.
