Audio Setup Page
In menu item Angle Mark you activate/deactivate playback of dierent
camera angles for DVD playback. This menu item is only valid for DVDs,
which contain scenes shot from dierent camera angles.
In menu item OSD lang you set the language for the displayed setup
menus.
In menu item Screen saver you activate/deactivate the screen saver.
In menu item Closed Captions you activate/deactivate the display of
subtitles for hearing impaired (if available on the DVD).
If in the menu item Last memory the setting is “On”, then the unit saves
the last playback position of a DVD/CD/VCD. After turning the unit o
and on again playback continues from the saved position.
Press SETUP (6) on the remote control.
The main menu is displayed and the General Setup Menu icon is high-
lighted.
Repeatedly press (8) until the Audio Setup Page is displayed.
Press (8) to highlight a menu item.
Press (8) to access the respective submenu.
Press , (8) and ENTER (7) to select the desired setting.
In menu item Analog Audio Setup you adjust the audio output to your
speakers and your listening habits.
PLEASE NOTE
Select under “Dolby Digital Setup” the corresponding audio
format if the unit is connected to an external amplier via optical
or coax cable.
Depending on mode and speaker settings not all speakers may be
active.
In radio mode the subwoofer is only engaged when setting to
“Downmix 5.1” and “Prologic II”.
During CD playback you can only select “Prologic II” without
activated reverb mode.
In menu item SPDIF Setup you set the properties for SPDIF signal output
(SPDIF-RAW/SPDIF-PCM).
In menu item Dolby Digital Setup you set the stereo or dierent mono
playback modes. Here you also set the dynamic range.
