Installation and connection instructions
Positioning
Set the machine up as close as possible to a water tap and a connection for waste
water.
In order to ensure the door closes and seals properly, it is necessary for the machine
to stand firmly and horizontally on the floor.
Adjust the screw feet upwards and downwards until the machine stands level.
This dishwasher is designed to be fitted under a kitchen counter or worksurface.
Connecting the water supply
Your dishwasher can be connected to either a cold or hot water supply of max.
60°C.
Never connect your dishwasher to open hot water appliances and continuous
flow heaters!
Nevertheless we advise you a cold water supply. A hot water supply is not always
efficient with very soiled crockery as it shortens the washing programmes.
Avoid bends or kinks in the hose which could prevent or slow down the water supply.
If the machine is connected to new pipes or pipes which have not been used for a
long time, you should run the water for a few minutes before connecting the inlet
hose. This will prevent deposits of sand or rust clogging the inlet hose.
The water pressure must be within the limits given in the technical specifications.
Do not use, for connection, old hoses which have been used in another
appliance.
Your dishwasher has been built in accordance with the valid regulations governing
water-consuming appliances and is equipped with safety devices which prevent used
water from flowing back into the drinking water mains.
