POWERBOX AND PEDALBOX BY DIESEL TORQUE

Need more oomph from your vehicle? Cost of fuel driving you crazy?

Before you throw in the towel and invest in a bicycle, consider the Power-

box, which is claimed to increase power and torque by up to 30 per cent and

improve fuel consumption by up to 20 per cent.

The Powerbox comes in a handy DIY kit complete with instructions (for the

less enthusiastic, a national dealer network can help install the system). An

add-on, the Pedalbox, is said to improve throttle response.

The system is compatible with turbodiesels and normally aspirated or

turbocharged petrol engines. Trucks and tractors are covered, too. Imported

from Germany, the components are of the highest-quality materials and carry

a lifetime warranty.
