Use a well-wrung-out cloth for daily
cleaning. In the case of stubborn dirt
use a cloth or soft plastic sponge and
washing-up liquid or universal
cleaner.
Never use metal cleaning pads, soft
soap, metal sponges, hard plastic
sponges, scouring powder or other
abrasive and caustic cleaners.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Aluminium
For hygienic and safety rea-
sons, keep the grill clean.
Bits of food will give off
fumes when heated and in
the worst case can lead to a
fire.
The operating panel
Wipe the operating panel with a damp
cloth wrung out in ordinary detergent.
If necessary wipe afterwards with a
clean, dry cloth.
The grill
The grill must be allowed to cool down
before it is cleaned.
The grill rack
The grill rack should be cleaned each
time it has been used.
1. Remove burnt-on grease and rem-
nants of food with a pot scourer.

2. Clean the grill rack with ordinary
washing-up liquid.
- Do not put the grill rack in
the dishwasher.
- When washing by hand,
obey the following instruc-
tion, which appears on the
grill rack:
- Do not immerse El-plug
under water - which
means: Do not immerse
the electrical connector in
water.
The grill pan
The grill pan must be cleaned each
time the grill has been used.
1. Remove burnt-on grease and rem-
nants of food with a pot scourer. In
the case of stubborn dirt you can
soak the pan in hot water to which
washing-up liquid has been added
or put it in the dishwasher.
2. Clean the grill rack with ordinary
washing-up liquid or put it in the
dishwasher.
Lava rocks
When there is a lot of grease on the
lava rocks, they should be washed. The
lava rocks can be washed by hand in a
washing-up bowl using hot water and
washing-up liquid or in the dishwasher.
If they are cleaned in the dishwasher,
the lava rocks should be put in a basket
that is safe to use in a dishwasher.

Removal of Packaging
Any damages resulting from a trans-
port which you have not performed
yourself must be communicated to
the dealer within one week of receipt
of the product.
On the rating plate which is placed
on the back of the product you will
find the CE marking and the prod-
uct’s serial number. Write the serial
number on the front of this instruc-
tion book so it is easily accessible in
the event of service.
Unpacking
All packaging can be recycled.
Contact your local authority if you
do not know where to dispose of the
packaging.
Transport Damages
Check that the appliance has no
faults and is undamaged on delivery.
