Note:
The signals of the remote control are transmitted to the
DVD-Player by infra-red light. Ensure that the DVD-Player
is not exposed to direct sunlight. This may render the signal
transmittal from the remote control to the DVD-Player
impossible.
Remote Control Range
To use the remote control point it toward the remote control
sensor located at the front of the unit. The distance between
remote control and sensor should not exceed 5 meters. The
angle of the remote control to the sensor should not exceed 30
degrees within right, left, above and below.
Power Supply
The alternating current adapter is functional with an alternating
current of 100 V and 240 V but:
The enclosed mains cable may only be connected to a
power source of 230-240V alternating current within Europe.
To connect to an alternating current source outside of
Europe a plug adapter compatible with the respective outlet
must be used.
Connect the cable of the alternating current adapter to the
DC IN 15.5V socket jack on the unit (Fig. 2/24).
Plug the alternating current adapter into a protective ground
contact outlet installed according to regulation.
Caution:
The enclosed alternate current adapter is intended for use
with this unit only. Do not use with other unit.
If the unit is not in use for an extended period of time the
alternate current adapter must be disconnected from the
power outlet.
Connect to other Devices
The picture data is projected from your DVD-Player to your TV
or video projector with the video cable.
Scart (CVBS Stereo Signal)
The video- as well as the audio data is transferred by SCART.
Plug in the SCART-connector tightly into the connection
located at the rear of the unit (Fig. 2/21).
Plug in the SCART-plug into the respective connector of
you playback unit.
