WARNING: Danger of fire: Do not store items on the cooking surfaces. Metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids should not be placed on the hob surface since they can get hot. Do not use a steam cleaner to clean the appliance. After use, switch off the hob element by its control and do not rely on the pan detector.

www.aeg.com 5.1 Operating the hob You operate the hob with the knobs of the oven and control panel of the hob. The "Daily use" chapter for the oven tells how to operate the hob. 5.2 Automatic Switch Off The function deactivates the hob automatically if: • all cooking zones are deactivated, • you do not set the heat setting after you activate the hob, • you spill something or put something on the control panel for more than 10 seconds (a pan, a cloth, etc.).

Cookware material • correct: cast iron, steel, enamelled steel, stainless steel, multi-layer bottom (with a correct marking from a manufacturer). • not correct: aluminium, copper, brass, glass, ceramic, porcelain. Cookware is suitable for an induction hob if: • water boils very quickly on a zone set to the highest heat setting. • a magnet pulls on to the bottom of the cookware.

Refer to Safety chapters. 7.1 General information • Clean the hob after each use. • Always use cookware with a clean base. • Scratches or dark stains on the surface have no effect on how the hob operates.

Siehe Kapitel Sicherheitshinweise. 5.1 Korrekter Gebrauch des Kochfeldes Das Kochfeld wird mit den Knöpfen des Backofens und dem Bedienfeld des Kochfelds bedient. Im Kapitel „Täglicher Gebrauch“ für den Backofen können Sie nachlesen, wie das Kochfeld bedient wird. 5.2 Abschaltautomatik Mit dieser Funktion wird das Kochfeld in folgenden Fällen automatisch ausgeschaltet: • Alle Kochzonen sind ausgeschaltet.
DEUTSCH Ausschalten der Funktion: Ändern Sie die Kochstufe. 5.5 Timer Kurzzeitmesser Mit dieser Funktion stellen Sie ein, wie lange eine Kochzone für einen einzelnen Kochvorgang eingeschaltet bleiben soll. Stellen Sie zuerst die Kochstufe für die Kochzone und erst danach die Funktion ein. Auswählen der Kochzone:Berühren Sie so oft, bis die Anzeige der gewünschten Kochzone aufleuchtet. Einschalten der Funktion: Berühren Sie des Timers, um die Zeit einzustellen (00 - 99 Minuten).

DEUTSCH 53 Automatikmodi 5.11 Hob²Hood Diese innovative automatische Funktion verbindet das Kochfeld mit einer speziellen Dunstabzugshaube. Das Kochfeld und die Dunstabzugshaube kommunizieren mit Hilfe von Infrarotsignalen. Die Drehzahl des Lüfters wird automatisch eingestellt. Sie richtet sich nach dem eingestellten Modus und der Temperatur des heißesten Kochgeschirrs auf dem Kochfeld. Sie können den Lüfter auch manuell auf dem Bedienfeld des Kochfelds einstellen.
www.aeg.com 5. Berühren Sie des Timers, um den gewünschten Modus (H0 - H6) auszuwählen. Der gewählte Modus wird automatisch nach 10 Sekunden eingeschaltet. Schalten Sie den Automatikbetrieb aus, um die Dunstabzugshaube direkt über ihr Bedienfeld einzustellen. Wenn Sie nach Beendigung des Kochvorgangs das Kochfeld ausschalten, kann die Dunstabzugshaube noch eine gewisse Zeit in Betrieb sein. Nach dieser Zeit schaltet das System den Lüfter automatisch aus.
DEUTSCH Induktionskochzonen passen sich bis zu einem gewissen Grad automatisch an die Größe des Kochgeschirrbodens an. Die Kochzoneneffizienz hängt vom Durchmesser des Kochgeschirrs ab. An Kochgeschirr mit einem kleineren Durchmesser als der Mindestdurchmesser gelangt nur ein Teil der von der Kochzone erzeugten Hitze. Siehe hierzu „Technische Daten“. 6.2 Betriebsgeräusche Es gibt verschiedene Betriebsgeräusche: • Knacken: Das Kochgeschirr besteht aus unterschiedlichen Materialien (Sandwichkonstruktion).
