Alarm Function
You can set two alarm times; proceed as follows:
Press the button (1/21) to switch the device o.
Press and hold the AL1 button (10/1) or the AL2 but-
ton (10/3) for approx. 2 sec. The currently set wake-up
time appears on the display. The hours ash.
Press the / buttons to set the hours. Press the AL1
or AL2 button to conrm. The minutes ash.
Set the minutes, press the / buttons. Press AL1 or
AL2 button to conrm.
Using the / buttons, select how you want to be
woken. Conrm your selection with the AL1 or AL2
button.
The following options are available:
- “ ” (Buzzer):
An alarm sounds when the wake-up time is reached.
The volume increases slowly.
- “ ” (Radio):
As soon as your set wake-up time is reached, the
radio switches on. The last set channel will play. The
volume increases slowly.
- “ ” (iPod/iPhone):
CAUTION:
Before plugging in the iPod/iPhone, make sure
that the radio is not in iPod mode.
Insert the adapter supplied with your iPod into
the dock (11). You can only ensure that the iPod
ts correctly into the iPod port if the adapter is
plugged in.
Insert your iPod or iPhone in the dock (11).
CAUTION:
Make sure that your iPod/iPhone is plugged
upright into the port. Do not bend or tilt the
iPod/iPhone whilst it is plugged into the port.
This may cause damage to the dock and/or
the iPod/iPhone.
Playback from your iPod/iPhone starts in the
set mode at the set alarm time. The volume
increases slowly.
NOTE:
Follow your iPod/iPhone manual to select
the desired mode
If no iPod/iPhone is connected the device
wakes you in BUZZER mode.
Press the AL1 or AL2 button, “ ” or “ ” is displayed.
The rst or second alarm time is activated.
Turn O Alarm
Press the button to turn o the alarm until the next
day.
Snooze Function
Press the SNOOZE button (7/20) to deactivate the alarm
for approx. 9 minutes.
Deactivate Alarm
To deactivate the rst alarm time, repeatedly press the
AL1 button (10/1) until “ ” disappears on the display.
To deactivate the second alarm time, repeatedly press
the AL2 button (10/3) until “ ” disappears on the
display.
Sleep Timer (SLEEP button (7/20))
In ON mode, set the time for the device to automatically
switch to standby mode. Select between: 120, 90, 60, 30,
15 and OFF. Repeatedly press this button until the desired
time is displayed. SLEEP is displayed if the function is ac-
tivated. After the set time the device automatically turns
o.
Press the button (1/21) to cancel this function. The
device switches to standby mode.
Music Playback from iPod/iPhone
(iPod/iPhone not supplied)
CAUTION:
Before plugging in the iPod/iPhone, make sure that the
radio is not in iPod/iPhone mode.
1. Insert the adapter supplied with your iPod into the
dock (11). You can only ensure that the iPod ts cor-
rectly into the iPod port if the adapter is plugged in.
2. Insert your iPod or iPhone into the dock (11).
CAUTION:
Make sure that your iPod/iPhone is plugged upright
into the port. Do not bend or tilt the iPod/iPhone
whilst it is plugged into the port.This may cause
damage to the dock or the iPod/iPhone.
3. Press the button (1/21) to switch the device on.
Repeatedly press the FUNCTION button (5/14), until
“iPHONE” is displayed.
4. Depending on the iPod/iPhone Model, rstly release
the button lock and start playing music if necessary
with the button (3/12).
5. Follow your iPod/iPhone manual for further use of the
controls.
CAUTION:
Return to radio mode before disconnecting your iPod/
iPhone from this device to avoid damages to your iPod/
iPhone.
Finally select the maximum wake-up volume with the
/ buttons.
