Always keep a rag nearby to dry up any water spillages when removing the cover. Clean the filter under a tap, to remove any traces of fluff. 6.

Never remove the pump cover during a wash cycle, always wait until the appliance has finished the cycle, and is empty. When refitting the pump cover, ensure it is securely re-tightened so as to stop leaks and young children being able to remove it. Put the cap back on the emergency emptying hose and place the latter back in its seat.

The plug is not properly inserted in the power socket. • Insert the plug into the power socket. There is no power at the socket. • Check your domestic electrical installation. The main fuse has blown. • Replace the fuse. The programme dial is not correctly positioned and the button 8 has not been pressed. • Please turn the programme dial and press the button 8 again.
ENGLISH 25 Problem Possible cause/Solution There is water on the floor: You have used too much detergent or unsuitable detergent (creates too much foam). • Reduce the detergent quantity or use another one. Check whether there are any leaks from one of the inlet hose fittings. It is not always easy to see this as the water runs down the hose; check to see if it is damp. • Check the water inlet hose connection. The drain or the inlet hose is damaged. • Replace it with a new one.
www.aeg.com Problem Possible cause/Solution Spinning starts late or the machine does not spin: The electronic unbalance detection device has cut in because the laundry is not evenly distributed in the drum. The laundry is redistributed by reverse rotation of the drum. This may happen several times before the unbalance disappears and normal spinning can resume. If, after some minutes, the laundry is still not evenly distributed in the drum, the machine will not spin.
ENGLISH 4. Remove the internal film. 5. Open the door. Remove the polystyrene piece from the door seal and all the items from the drum. 6. Put one of the polystyrene packaging elements on the floor behind the appliance. Carefully put down the appliance with the rear side on it. Make sure not to damage the hoses. 7. Remove the polystyrene protection from the bottom. Pull up the appliance in vertical position. 8.
www.aeg.com 9. Remove the power supply cable and the drain hose from the hose holders. 10. Remove the three bolts. Use the key supplied with the appliance. 11. Pull out the plastic spacers. 12. Put the plastic caps in the holes. You can find these caps in the user manual bag. WARNING! Remove all the packaging and the transit bolts before you install the appliance. We recommend that you keep the packaging and the transit bolts for when you move the appliance.
ENGLISH 29 13.2 Positioning and levelling • Install the machine on a flat hard floor. • Make sure that air circulation around the machine is not impeded by carpets, rugs etc. • Carefully level by screwing the adjustable feet in or out. • After having levelled the appliance, tighten the lock nuts. • The appliance must be level and stable. Never place cardboard, wood or similar materials under the machine to compensate for any unevenness in the floor.
www.aeg.com • Connect the water inlet hose to the cold water tap with 3/4 thread. CAUTION! Make sure that there are no leaks from the couplings. Do not use an extension hose if the inlet hose is too short. Contact the service centre for the replacement of the inlet hose. Water-stop device The inlet hose has a water stop device. This device prevents water leaks in the hose because of its natural ageing. The red sector in the window «A» shows this fault .

ENGLISH 1 2 33 • Hinges To mount the hinges it is necessary to drill two holes (dia. 35 mm, depth 12.5-14 mm depending on the depth of door furniture) on the inner side of the door. The distance between the holes hobs fixing centres must be 416 mm. The distance from upper edge of the door to the centre of the hole depends on the adjacent furniture's dimensions. The hinges will be fixed to the door by means of screws for wood 1 and 2 (Fig. 4) supplied with the appliance. Fig.

Die Symbole der nicht kombinierbaren Optionen erlöschen. Falls eine Option nicht mit dem ausgewählten Waschprogramm kombinierbar ist, wird einige Sekunden lang die Meldung Err angezeigt, und die gelbe Kontrolllampe der Taste 8 beginnt zu blinken. Wählen Sie zuerst das Programm, dann die Option und drücken Sie dann Taste 8.

Ziehen Sie den Notentleerungsschlauch heraus (B), halten Sie das Ende in den Behälter und entfernen Sie die Abdeckung des Schlauchs. 5. Tritt kein Wasser mehr aus, schrauben Sie die Pumpenabdeckung (A) entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn auf und entnehmen Sie den Filter. Verwenden Sie nötigenfalls eine Zange dazu. Halten Sie einen Lappen bereit, um austretendes Wasser aufzuwischen.
DEUTSCH 8. 9. WARNUNG! Wenn das Gerät in Betrieb ist, kann sich je nach gewähltem Programm heißes Wasser in der Pumpe befinden. Entfernen Sie den Pumpendeckel niemals während eines Waschprogramms. Warten Sie immer, bis das Gerät den Waschgang beendet hat und leer ist. Achten Sie beim Aufsetzen des Pumpendeckels auf einen festen Sitz, um zu verhindern, dass Wasser austritt oder dass Kinder den Deckel entfernen können.

Das Wasser wird nicht abgepumpt und/oder das Gerät schleudert nicht: • Überprüfen Sie den Anschluss des Ablaufschlauchs. Der Ablauffilter ist verstopft. • Reinigen Sie den Ablauffilter. Es wurde eine Option oder ein Programm gewählt, das damit endet, dass noch Wasser in der Trommel steht, oder das auf den Schleudergang verzichtet. • Wählen Sie das Abpump- oder Schleuderprogramm.
DEUTSCH 61 Problem Mögliche Ursache/Abhilfe Die Tür lässt sich nicht öffnen: Das Programm läuft noch. • Warten Sie das Ende des Waschprogramms ab. Die Tür wurde noch nicht entriegelt. • Warten Sie, bis das Symbol erloschen ist. Es befindet sich Wasser in der Trommel. • Wählen Sie das Abpump- oder Schleuderprogramm, um das Wasser abzupumpen. Das Gerät vibriert oder läuft sehr laut: Transportsicherungen und Verpackungsteile wurden nicht entfernt. • Überprüfen Sie, ob das Gerät richtig aufgestellt ist.
www.aeg.com 13. MONTAGE 13.1 Auspacken 1. Verwenden Sie Handschuhe. Entfernen Sie die äußere Folie. Benutzen Sie, falls erforderlich, ein Teppichmesser. 2. Nehmen Sie die Karton-Abdeckung ab. Entfernen Sie die Styropor-Verpackungsteile. 3. 4. Entfernen Sie die innere Folie. 5. Öffnen Sie die Tür. Entfernen Sie das Styroporteil aus der Türdichtung und alle Teile aus der Trommel.
DEUTSCH 63 6. Legen Sie eines der Styroporverpackungsteile hinter dem Gerät auf den Boden. Legen Sie das Gerät vorsichtig mit der Rückseite darauf ab. Achten Sie darauf, die Schläuche nicht zu beschädigen. 7. Entfernen Sie den Styroporschutz von der Geräteunterseite. Ziehen Sie das Gerät nach oben, sodass es wieder aufrecht steht. 8. 1 2 9. Entnehmen Sie das Netzkabel und den Ablaufschlauch aus den Schlauchhalterungen. 10. Lösen Sie die drei Schrauben.
www.aeg.com 12. Setzen Sie die Kunststoffkappen in die Öffnungen. Diese Kappen finden Sie im Beutel mit der Gebrauchsanleitung. WARNUNG! Entfernen Sie vor der Montage des Geräts alle Verpackungsmaterialien und Transportschrauben. Wir empfehlen, Verpackungsmaterial und Transportschrauben für einen späteren Transport aufzubewahren. 13.2 Aufstellen und Ausrichten • Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einem ebenen, festen Boden auf.
DEUTSCH 65 13.3 Wasserzulaufschlauch • Schließen Sie den Schlauch am Gerät an. Drehen Sie den Wasserzulaufschlauch nur nach links oder rechts. Lösen Sie die Ringmutter, um ihn in die gewünschte Position zu bewegen. 20 O 45 O • Schließen Sie den Wasserzulaufschlauch an einen Kaltwasserhahn mit einem 3/4"-Außengewinde an. VORSICHT! Achten Sie darauf, dass die Anschlüsse dicht sind. Verwenden Sie keinen Verlängerungsschlauch, falls der Zulaufschlauch zu kurz ist.
www.aeg.com 13.4 Wasserablauf Es gibt mehrere Möglichkeiten, den Ablaufschlauch anzuschließen: Mit der Kunststoff-Schlauchführung. • Über eine Waschbeckenkante. • Stellen Sie sicher, dass die KunststoffFührung beim Abpumpen nicht abrutschen kann. Befestigen Sie deswegen die Führung am Wasserhahn oder an der Wand. • An ein Standrohr mit Entlüftungsöffnung. Orientieren Sie sich an der Abbildung. Direkte Einleitung in ein Ablaufrohr auf einer Höhe nicht unter 60 cm und nicht über 100 cm.
DEUTSCH 67 • Direkte Einleitung in ein Abflussrohr in der Zimmerwand. Mit einer Schlauchschelle befestigen. Sie können den Ablaufschlauch auf maximal 400 cm verlängern. Fragen Sie beim Kundendienst nach einem anderen Ablaufschlauch und der Schlauchverlängerung. 14. EINBAU 14.1 Einbau • Dieses Gerät lässt sich in eine Einbauküche integrieren. www.aeg.com 16-22 mm X Ø 35 mm 416 mm 22±1,5 mm 14 mm • Tür Die Tür muss folgende Abmessungen aufweisen: – Breite 595-598 mm – Stärke 16-22 mm – Die Höhe X hängt von der Höhe des Sockels der benachbarten Küchenmöbel ab (Abb. 3). 595-598 mm Abb. 3 1 2 • Scharniere Zum Montieren der Scharniere müssen Sie zwei Löcher (Durchmesser 35 mm, Tiefe 12,5 - 14 mm je nach Tiefe des Türmöbels) an der Türinnenseite bohren. Der Abstand zwischen den Mittelpunkten der Bohrungen muss 416 mm betragen.
DEUTSCH 69 • Gegenmagnet Die Tür wird durch einen Magnetverschluss geschlossen. Damit dies richtig funktioniert, müssen Sie den Gegenmagneten A (Stahlscheibe + Gummiring) an der Innenseite der Tür anschrauben. Die Position muss dem Magneten B am Gerät entsprechen (Abb. 6).
