11. DAILY USE - DRYING ONLY

11.1 Preparation to drying
1. Press button On/Off for some
seconds to activate the appliance
2. Load the laundry one item at a time.
3. Turn the programme dial to the
drying programme applicable for the
items to dry.
The text bar in the display tells which
programme you have chosen.
When drying a big amount
of laundry, to have good
drying performances, make
sure that the laundry itself is
not rolled up and that is
uniformly distributed in the
drum.
At the beginning of the
drying cycle (3 – 5 min.)
there could be a slightly
higher sound level. This is
the compressor start and it is
quite normal for compressor
powered appliances such
refrigerators, freezers and so
on.
11.2 Automatic drying
1. Touch button Auto Dry repeatedly to
set the required dryness level. The
indicators on the control panel
illuminate accordingly:
a. IRON DRY level - 1 indicator on:
for cotton items
b. CUPBOARD DRY level - 2
indicators on: for cotton and
synthetic items
c. EXTRA DRY level - 3 indicators
on : indicator for cotton items
You cannot set all dryness
levels for any type of
laundry.
The display shows the time end and the
set drying programme.
2. Touch button Start/Pause to start the
programme.
The text bar tells that the appliance is
drying.
The display shows the door locked
indicator and the programme in progress
indicator and, alternatively, the time
of the cycle end.
The display updates regularly the drying
cycle time (every minute).
11.3 Timed drying
1. Touch button Time Dry again and
again to set the time value (see the
«Drying Programme» table).
The display shows 15 minutes for cottons
and synthetics programmes while starts
from 13 minutes for wool programme.
Each time you touch this button the time
value increases by 5 minutes. The display
shows the set time value.
2. Touch Start/Pause to start the
programme. The text bar tells that
the appliance is drying.
On the display appear the door locked
and the programme in progress
indicators.
The display shows alternatively, the
drying cycle duration and the time of the
cycle end.
The display updates regularly the drying
cycle value.
If the laundry is not sufficient
dry, set again a short drying
time.
11.4 At the end of the drying
programme
The appliance stops automatically.
The acoustic signals operate (if they
are active).
In the display
comes on. The text
bar tells you that the programme is
completed.
The indicator of button Start/Pause
goes off. The door locked goes
off
Press the button On/Off for some
seconds to deactivate the appliance.
