Washing has not been
spun sufficiently, there
is water left in the
drum.
Error code (2 appears.
There is a kink in the outlet
hose.
Eliminate the kink.
Maximum pumping height
(drain height 1m from the
position of the machine) is
exceeded.
Please contact the AEG
Service Force Centre, it has a
retro-kit available for pump
heights above 1m.
Drain pump is blocked.
Switch off the machine and
pull the plug out of the
socket, clean the drain pump.
The water drainage system is
blocked.
Clean the blockage.
The door cannot be
opened with the
machine on.
Door is locked due to safety
reasons (lamp next to the
DOOR/LIGHT button is off).
Wait until the lamp is green.
The child safety device is set.
Cancel the child safety
device (see "Child safety
device").
The rinse water is
cloudy.
Probably caused by a
washing powder with a high
silicate content.
This does not affect the
rinse results. If necessary use
liquid detergent.
When pressing a
program option button
the corresponding
display does not light
up
The program option selected
is not available with the
program set.
Make another selection.
Washing powder
residues are left in the
washing powder
compartment.
The water tap is not fully
open.
Open the water tap fully.
The inlet hose filter is
blocked.
Clean the filter.
The inlet valve filter is
blocked.
Disconnect the inlet hose
from the machine and clean
the filter.
Program progress
display flashes
continuously.
Child safety device is
activated; during the
washing cycle the program
selector was changed.
Turn the program selector
back to its original position
(see "Child safety device").
